Doing rooting and backup now using Nandroid. Anyway, is backing up via Nandroid really required? I remember i skip this skip for all the rooting i have done previously and even i have backup, i always format my SD after that, thus, equal no backup.

Nandroid is important IF the rom you updating is corrupted or something bad happened when you flash, aka Bricked your phone. It helps to restore back to where it was before flashing.

nice score, i'm guessing you mean removing system apps right? do you remove it on the ROM zip file itself or using titanium backup?

Just flashed to NexTSense v5.3

Noticed that all the data aren't removed if you flash from previous NexTSense version to the latest one.

So, IF the flashing is successful, we can wipe the Nandroid right?

White one? Post some pictures when it arrives smile.gif Is it gloss or matte? How much did they charge you overall together with shipping?

Anyway, whats the quadrant score for NextSense 5.3? Mine is 1175. Why seemed so less?

I've a 100% charged battery at 9am, I turn wifi on all the time with some occasional syncing, Gtalk-ing and web surfing

Now I have 82% left

Erm..That seems ok to me. Cause even on Eclair, it wont left me with much either. Cause my friend told me 5.2 is very battery hungry. Gotta redownload all the drivers and root again then smile.gif
*
Since my last post I left it on standby most of the time with wifi and syncing on, and it's still 77% now

Quite happy with the battery life so far

I choose cheapest posting which cost USD 6something. If want fast, it will cost more, which is USD 15 IIRC.

Total cost me aboud USD 27.

Nothing happens even after long press power button. I suspect the SD card corrupted after the ROM manager flashes it. I just took out the SD, plug into my laptop and it says it needs to be formatted. Formatted it, put in the ROM and Radio zip files and now reflashing. Hopefully its ok.

I did~~ but no one to talk to. glad to have you interested in CM6 too...yay!!  rclxm9.gif  i might flash it today if the lecturer didnt give me any extra assignments... cry.gif
If you back up using Titanium, you need to backup the app and data, or else it will backup the apps only. i only tried Titanium for apps backup only as i dont like restoring all data just like that. so i use other apps for other backups(sms, contacts, etc)...
