Have you guys ever tried playing MKV files with RockPlayer? I tried playing a 720p file, fully unconverted using it and it kinda lags, but just a little bit. Probably not recommended for MKV

Those that have updated to Froyo OTA, does it wipe the data in your ROM?

QUOTE(maliqu3 @ Aug 2 2010, 12:03 PM) haha, yeah you're right. so if u guys dont want to wait any longer, then root ur phone and feel the latest original froyo in rooted version. if u want to try official froyo with old a2sd/a2sd+ feature, u can try different rom. but my suggestion flash the rom from the link i gave. the other roms are developed by new devs (and too much changes) so it's kinda not promising i think since i want to feel the closest to original one. I hope with Froyo, it now speeds up the changes to application to support App2SD. Thats the only reason for me though |

QUOTE(maliqu3 @ Aug 2 2010, 12:12 PM) in froyo now i can play asphalt without lagging and it's even fast&smooth now. let's hope all the apps can support native a2sd, coz it's still few of them that can support it. but still, a2sd+ will always be better than native a2sd since a2sd+ can save more internal memory. One question about the native App2SD though. When you install application, will it prompt you to install to SD (like what WinMo does) or it automatically goes into the SD card? Nice to know at least its faster and smoother |

QUOTE(maliqu3 @ Aug 2 2010, 12:24 PM) mostly all the apps will be installed into ur phone automatically and u have to move the apps to sd manually. however, some apps that have supported native a2sd might install into sd card, such as Skies of Glory. How do i know where are they installed? Do we have option to select where do we want to install them? QUOTE(samurai1337 @ Aug 2 2010, 12:28 PM) When I asked when is the OTA released for SEA users, I got this response from SiS Thats more like a template If they don't know, then just say don't know la....lol QUOTE(maliqu3 @ Aug 2 2010, 12:28 PM) maybe ur card is corrupted or did u plug in ur phone while trying to do nandroid? actually, u can skip the nandroid backup if u think u dont want to return to ur phone's current state in the future. I had the same problem when i tried to format my card using OpenDesire. My suggestion, take out your MicroSD, format using a PC and redo the nandroid backup |

QUOTE(maliqu3 @ Aug 2 2010, 12:36 PM) as i said, all the apps will install into internal memory automatically and u have to move it manually from Settings if u want the apps to be installed in sd [no options during installation]. I see. So, everytime i need to use that Move To SD option then. Kinda troublesome. Was hoping they have an option to select where to install. Thanks. |

QUOTE(maliqu3 @ Aug 2 2010, 05:27 PM) If u want to flash official froyo, u need to flash the latest radio. For ur apps use titanium to restore. Question, if we wanted to flash to Unrooted Official Froyo when it arrives, wouldn't it automatically flash to the latest Radio as well? Cause mine automatically change its Radio when i unrooted using the RUU. |

QUOTE(KTCY @ Aug 3 2010, 08:51 AM) I suggest you to either, try getting a Ubuntu Live CD, which doesn't require installation or get yourself an XP. I tried Unrevoked with XP without any problem Btw, which rooted original FroYo are you guys using? This post has been edited by akachester: Aug 3 2010, 08:55 AM |
