Froyo updated, quick and easy.  First update failed as I didn't have more than 25MB of space on my phone.  Else installation took about 5 minutes. 

1) Interface looks to be roughly the same.
2) Faster response on home screen. 
3) A few new apps, including 720p video, wifi hotspots for tethering, some new widgets, flashlight, a cuter call screen, updated messages, so typing is easier etc.
4) The update kept all the settings on the phone and apps on the phone as they are.  Broken link for voice search, not end of the world.
5) 270 deg rotation.
6) App on SDCard.  Needs to be supported by app though.

I am currently downloading it (the radio file and the package itself), but not sure how to root/install it - does it have proper instruction in the zip files? Will decide tomorrow to install thia or waot for official update

Got a guide from Chinese forum. It looks like we need to flash it to ver1.2.1 first in order to update Froyo ROM.
But my question is will we lost the warranty from Maxis or SiS?

It's an original UNROOTED World Wide English HTC Desire ROM. It has no English(US) locale though. I'm using this.

My windows just can't detect the phone while using unrevoked
And I already installed everything (driver). Even device manager showing android boatloader.

Trying to create goldcard. Can't as well
They don't want let me root.

Am on Win7 x64. Is that the problem ?

I suggest you to either, try getting a Ubuntu Live CD, which doesn't require installation or get yourself an XP. I tried Unrevoked with XP without any problem And its aint too hard to do it with Linux either. All you need is to start the terminal / download the Unrevoked, one click and you are done

Btw, which rooted original FroYo are you guys using?

great to see u joining the "darkside" btw  . You should have a try at Neophyte and Leedroid roms. They both are very active at updating and considered the rom of the people. They follow up with users request and done some customizing a lil bit (except on neophyte which is using the expressobar mod). Both have done well releasing good sense froyo rom since the froyo leak.

But windows only recognize the fat32 portion.
it wont merge the ext2 back to the fat32
