i already put one dedicated notepad cooler to cool down the DIR-65 and Huawei Gateway, hopefully it won't get fried that fast

The router does not get very hot just warm like any other routers, so i dont this it is because it is too hot. When my 2nd one burn, the router had 2 light in the front and the thing remain cold like its not switched on.

Ergo, their justification for the caps. You cannot have a massive increase in user speed and not expect a proportional increase in downloads/uploads. Their international bandwidth costs would skyrocket without added peering links with other fibre lines/providers...

Just gotten my VIP20 yesterday. brows.gif
Yesterday soooo happy. icon_idea.gif
Today, sooooo not happy. cry.gif

Got the dreaded orange globe color on the DLink. Gotten the report at midnight. Don't know when the line will be back up. doh.gif
The phone connected to the line also not working. Instead of dial tone, get a toot-toot...toot-toot...toot-toot, etc.

TIIIIIIIIIIIIMMMMMM KAAAAAAAAAIIIII AARRRRRR

No, TM will install a new fibre optic line for your UNIFI, the FO line serves internet, IPTV and VOIP all at the same time. You can cancel your fixed line (copper line) and Streamyx after that if you want, i did that.
oh i see . btw whats a IPTV and VOIP . im kinda blur . hmm.gif

im from putrajaya presint 8.  Have been using unifi few weeks ago. Registration is prompt, waiting period for installation 5-7 days.  But you have to call the unifi support to make sure that they received your order.

Check outside your house if you have those greenbox at the side of your street. Those are fiber distribution point.

Hows the line ? . btw u using what package . im thinking about getting a unifi . that greenbox is nowhere to be seen in my place at presint 11 . is there a tmpoint in putrajaya hmm.gif

Currently I contact my home alarm system direct to my copper phone line. What can I do after install Unifi and discontinue my fix line phone service? Do I need to keep my exiting fix line phone?

IPTV is streaming TV programs so you don't have to subscribe to Astro anymore and VOIP is voice over ip for talking talking and video conferecing over the internet ler.

It is very simple, disconnect the TM line from your junction box, then plug in the RJ11 telephone cable from "Tel" 1 port at your BTU to one of the telephone wall socket. All other wall sockets connected to it (including your alarm system) will now be on VOIP. It works for me.
