Thanks Calvin for the update! biggrin.gif

For others who want to know the pricing, please read post#1380:
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1502636/+1360

At this moment, the unknown custom duty still cannot be determine, also we haven't discussed logistic arrangement yet.
Assuming you guys group in order of 20 units per box, and say the custom catch & tax 10%, then rough costing per unit is about SGD65 or about RM150

As I said earlier, if Landasan can bring in here and sell at RM150, then I would suggest you guys get from them. smile.gif

Why not just include the estimate roughly ~price on top of this long list? biggrin.gif Easier right?

I dont really like to lose my old number suddenly without notice. sweat.gif (got a few more day to Unifi installation)

I asked them before, they said I have to do it myself ....
So I don't think TM will cancel any current telephone/streaymx automatically I asked them before

I was on Streamyx+Celcom combo and I have to run 2 separate places just to cancel my streamyx... sweat.gif

I'm still keeping my old number, just too many contacts listed with the old number la .....
as for the new number, i use it to call any TM number since it's free ! nod.gif

they told my fren, his streamyx will be automaticlly terminated.. hmmm...

This is not CS fault, Unifi applicants was supposed to get the option to auto cancel Streamyx. This was eventually finalised into manual cancellation.

Note: I do not work for TM but the above is based on industry observation.

ok, thanks smile.gif

I read this "VDSL2 does not require drilling since UniFi connection will come from the existing phone jack in your home or office. For this premise type, indoor installation requires minimal setup time."

I am stay in landed home, I saw the Unify official site photo info, VDSL2 to High-rise.
Can i choose VDSL2 for landed home?

cause I do not wish to have any additional/new wiring come into my house.

i just got unifi installed in my place. VIP 5

i wanted the fibre cabling to run across my roof to another from because the fibre comes in from the back. the installer said that they will charge RM 200 to go into the roof to do the cabling. after much negotiation, i manage to do it myself, i went into the roof. lower a string to them outside, tied the fibre cable on one end and pull it into my roof, ran it across the roof (around extra 10 meters), before exiting to another room.

currently uploading a youtube, running 2 downloads from hotfile and fileserve, and watching tv. the router doesnt seem to be able to handle so much traffic.

i suggest if you know your house well and you know what you are doing. you should be able to do the cabling on your own.

Landed properties are fibre only, you can place the BTU very near a window so that the drilling will be minimized. You might be able to talk the installer into going through a window but fibre is quite fragile, can break quite easily if bent too much.

From BTU to DIR615 router for internet and phone line to existing lines if you wish to reuse.
