i had no problem using lan on unfi

but my wireless is not working since this afternoon.

anyone experience the same problem as me ?

The DIR-615 seems to have a habit of hanging the wifi connections. I get this all the time. You seem to be connected, but you cannot access the internet and local network, so you can't even access the router.

To fix this, I usually just manually disconnect the router and reconnect. This should normally fix things.

I heard some ppl try setting power to 50%. But the problem still persists for me. No setting I have tried can fix this permanently.

Guys...i want to ask..how to teminate streamyx if i already upgrade to UNIFI?

Can someone tell me step by step?Like what i need to bring,what i need to tell to operator ..etc?

My router is placed on an old unused metal-casing router which incidentally acts as a heat sink. It is also attached to a surge protector. I wonder if those measures helped...hmmm... :hmm:

Terminate Streamyx/Phone on 25 August.

What will happend eh?I need to pay RM 150(2MB) for my streamyx for that month?

Had problem with Youtube HD today. Normally everything streams smooth and fast, but tonight anything that is HD is super slow. Anything that is 480 and below is ok.

Could it be that TM throttle Unifi users from Youtube HD? I'm going to be really pissed if this is the case.

Subscribe to the VIP5 plan but have some nagging questions abt unit set-up. Is is possible to separate the fiberhome , DIR165 unit and the IPTV console from one another with long cables. If possible , what sort of cables is required?

The reason is i prefer  to have the  DIR165 unit in the room upstairs, wired to PC and cables to the rest. Ask UNIFI but they said technition would access on site visit which I believe it's too late by then to discuss set up.

From the forum, i read it's possible to use your old copper wiring for existing phone lines with with cable attachement to phone line socket, in order to reuse all your phone sockets. Is this abt right?

I hope some be able to help  elleviate my concerns  abt this.

An additional question, abt RJ45 cables can be up to 100m in length, should be long enough for what you need, bcos I would need abt 60 ft to connect to the STB, from my main BTU/DIR165, would the video/audio quality be compromised? Oh yeah, does the homeplug works on IPTV, as earlier today, that UNIFI sales mentioned that they are still testing it and is still unstable for proper tv viewing. Is this true as some of you have used it , i assume without problems.  :respect:

After install UniFi VIP5 for 3 days and Download about 120GB .. my DIR-615 G1 Router Start Not working ..Keep getting Orange in UniFi Signal  ..Need to wait for 4 Days until the TM people come to Replace it .. i heard people said need to change the cable to Fiber-optic if want to subscribe to Unifi

means my house have to re-wiring with Fiber-optic for Unifi? or the Fiber-optic cable just reach the interchange outside my house, and the old phone cable inside my house still can be use?

I am stay in landed home, I saw the Unify official site photo info, VDSL2 to High-rise.
Can i choose VDSL2 for landed home?

cause I do not wish to have any additional/new wiring come into my house.
