Hello,

I am new to U-Mobile, i have read some of the posting by user in regards to the broadband speed, the speed is comparable to some of the services provided by big telco (I am refering to wireless broadband not wired broadband). Is it still the case today?

I am currently looking into getting wireless broadband based on postpaid for my IPAD, IPAD2, laptop internet connection on the move. Currently, i have a blackberry (company) that used Maxis line (3GB plan) and I find it slow compared with the streamyx connection at home.

uMobile is getting the 1 billion expansion funds it needs from the Singapore Investment Arm via S Technologies Telemedia(STT).

That's why they are agressive these days.

But the upgrade is still quite slow in Klang Valley area.Maybe they are doing enhancements where other telcos are not focusing on and then only start to do KV area?

Add 8 ringgit then get extra 200MB quota and UNLIMITED internet usage. It is better to spend that RM8 to get a way better deal.

Thanks for your reply. But my main concern is that will I still able to use it on the celcom network(RM20 plan) since the coverage is still very spotty. Thanks!!

yea i really hope is UM problems, otherwise i will be waste RM 68 + rm 8 .. i can manual scan and found the u mobile 3G network (UMTS/ HSPA ) but everytime i connect it said network settin failed,.. while all the setting in my ZTE MF627 is correct,.

i know, is HSPA,.. not HSDPA.. i guess is the 42mb network, too bad i cannot connect,.

thanks for response, i hope the network will connect some how, currently using the slow 384kb digi data sim, sad.gif sad.gif
