Most of Nvidia's initial difficulties should have been eliminated already, they do have a working Fermi now, so I expect them to be more timely on their next release. But 'second half' spans both Q3 and Q4, so the HD 7000 series might be not far behind, if at all.

Hopefully the 28nm node will be a lot more smoother than the 40nm node was.

i bet the graphic is not heavy as the first crysis coz there will be multi platform for this game...
hope i don't need to change my card to play this game...

Crysis 2 is not as heavy as Crysis Warhead and Crysis.
Thus, it won't be as heavy as Metro 2033.

Crysis Warhead and Crysis as well as Metro 2033 are very heavy because their game engines are not optimized well.

According to Crytek, Crysis 2 supports Multiplayer. Thus, they're making it lighter than usual but with superior graphics than the older Crysis. So, everyone can enjoy smooth gameplay with great graphics.

as far as i know, most of the new games will released on Oct-Dis during school holiday..they will come out with the xbox game 1st then PC..

cant waaaait 4 Crysis 2 n mostly PES2011,huhu.. so boring rite now..

Why cannot? We already know Crysis 2 will use CryEngine 3 and the system requirement will no heavy as previous Crysis requirement.

why you so easy believe them? if old hardware still can handle why ATI keep release new GPU. new games always put new effects so new hardwares will look difference with old. this is why we are going to upgrade again and again.

i believe what they meant was that older hardware can still support the new games to run smoothly. just without all the eye candy turned up.

guys, do u think 5870 will perform better if i upgrade my current proc to 6 cores?

for gaming, better just stick with your x4 processor cos 6 core doesnt give any big impact on gaming.

so far, only Crysis 2 promise to hav up to 8 core optimization....
