Might actually play this game if the subscription can be done with debit cards. Can it be done? which region would be easier for me to topup the game? NA or EU?

Try ask the beta players how much they downloaded initially plus their current file size in their ff14 folder.
Take note though, there are still many features not included and enabled in beta.
And ... dont ferget , it can be pumped into a blu-ray(ps3) .
Though i wish it's only one dvd because i hate multi dvd switchin which is stupid.

what is the different btw NA and EU? 3d secure billing problem?

well im long time ffxi players along with my gf.. for like 6 years, although we quit at last year but i didn't end the subscription n still paying until lately around april i check statement found out they somehow stop billing, log in to pol ask the 3d secure thing. obviously i didn't care so much since we quit. i'm using CITIBANK MY cc to pay off the 2 accounts.

so if i was going to play on NA version, i need a cc with 3d secure? just wanna make sure. I think i have a POSB SG debit card which is activate with 3d secure, the one where you need one time password? i thought this 3d secure thing were suppose to activate by most of our local bank cc provider?

anyone is making a new linkshell for msian players and an admin to handle dkp system?

i will be playing the pc version first tho i not yet decide which version to buy. my gf will follow up, when the ps3 version release. i was hoping NA, coz i can hook back with my ex-ls friends but me n my gf sorta want to play with local players.

from the list.. i think we still lack of players for stuff like dynamis, hnm, znm, snm n einherjar (ok i know this events might not in ffxiv but something like that). maybe we can hook up with sg players coz they are gmt +8 as well. plz pardon my ignorance coz i'm not really up to date with ffxiv progress but i guess more members means easier to do big events.

it will be nice to hook up with some really hardcore people coz if u're ex-ffxi u should know why.

we both have experience on kill sea-nm up to av(b**** to kill), wryms, einherjar up to odin, sky-nm, limbus-finish, salvage, nyzul-complete, dynamis-all, znm up to pande warden but fail, toau-hnm, hnm, scnm, ks99 and those asorted nm in wing of goddess.

events we love most - dynamis

activities me- fishing n goldsmithing. my gf - cooking n clothcraft. guess we will be doing the same in ffxiv.

edit: as for jobs going to play.. not yet decide. my gf will mostly play whm and blm.

me and my group of friends will probably make final decision on joining the game later on though.... since there is no pvp, everyone is concern on the game's actual fun.

FF XI made a fun place to be even there is no PvP there, is still exciting.

i know, we've made our research. we are interested but some are still unsure. It's just that the playing atmosphere with someone you know in RL is very different than playing with those who you only heard of their voice through vent, if you know what i mean. ;p

Hi Juine, about the credit card thing better of checking with the bank , I think hsbc card will be able to play without problem.
We surely have enough malaysian players to start a big group for whatever activities..my only concern is that not everyone is a hardcore players...so we might not have everyone at the highest level for early end game content.

I m sure there is still a lot of players that gonna join this game which is not in this forum, i got a bunch of gamers frens that will join ff14 too. At this time most of them are playing starcraft 2 haaha

We will create a looting system once we get our people together in a company ( guild )

I really don't want a "repeat in history" situation with many MMOs I have played before.

Alot of people joining, capping the MAX level in 1-2 months and COMPLAIN there's no RAID content.
From a 100 odd people goes down to 10-20 people active.

Furthermore, the game is a fresh NEW start...


I'd say we get together and do a yam cha session - at least we will know where we stand.

Watch youtube and listen to FFxi songs.

Sigh... is a tough life in FFxi but its memorable.

Kazham... flower man pulling, lizzy pulling... got lost when walking back... being chase around my lizzy...etc etc...

Fall asleep at mid-night around 2am riding on chocobo with ls member to go do job specific armor quest... cause mostly high levels is from NA... until my Singapore friend call my other Malaysian friend to call me to wake up...

Slept on the keyboard... square mark printed on my face

Those were the days.....

Hoping FFXIV will give the same feel too
