Please add me to the player list - I will be joining with 2 other friends as well.
I am ordering the US CE version from Amazon.

Will be playing either a Lalafell or Roegadyn.

I will probably be dual boxing.

I am sure there's alot. Most flogging in other forums/existing clan sites.

Sole reason for people to play this game is because it is branded Final fantasy.
non PvP oriented makes it less appealing to those who loves pvp.

+ very little exposure has been done by the SE teams. Not many know about the game sad.gif. It's up to the fans to spread the fever.
*
I prefer it stays PvE throughout.... been through too many PvP themed MMOs only to find they FAIL at the end.
The balancing act kills the game, I've been through it and utterly disappointed at the outcome.

Not to say there's no exposure, there's lot of news and anticipation.

Actually i suggest setting up a player list with Messenger contacts on it.
It would be more convenient for players to msg each other rather doing msg here >.<.
*
I dont use messenger as I find it a hassle while MMOing.
I dont like the way it "pops" up in front of ya when you're doing other stuff.

You can get my mobile number to SMS me.

laugh.gif Still I find it better to communicate via SMS.

Speaking of which, how many of us here are playing together and how many are playing with their ex-LS mates?

For in-game communication, Ventrilo/Team Speak

For out-of-game communication, mobile phone is preferred.

For US version, no prob with delivery, but might have prob with credit/debit card billing which is 3D secure but still not confirm yet?
*
Try calling your bank who issued your Credit Card and ask them.

I am using HSBC CC and they have visa verified and secure card services.
I have no problems with billing and shipping from Amazon US.

I wish I could help, but that's the credit card I currently use. I have Citibank too.

I am still hoping that Play-asia will announce the CE pre-order soon sad.gif

I also had that in mind... a yum cha session. Possibly to discuss our goals and such.

I'm a hardcore gamer but I'm not a hardcore raider.

Just to put it into perspective, I dont like to be rushed to get max level by 1-2 months.
I want to enjoy the game to the fullest, explore it and play it with fulfillment.

Collector's Edition are usually limited and its usually first-come-first-serve basis order.
Wait too long, and you wont get it.

To add, getting a head start is also good.

Luckily the Broadband I'm using downloads at 200kbs... 2gb file takes 2 hours.

Final Fantasy is a different story. It has a certain quality.

I played FFXI way back in 2002, stopped and picked it up again in 2009.
It was still as refreshing as ever! FFXI has given me a "sense of achievement".
No other game commands you to do special quests to break the level cap, no other game pits you against your class to get the max level.

Aion has been a total horrible experience for me~ AND every game that revolves itself with PvP.
(Sorry, I've been through WoW, War, etc... all the same scenario, rebalancing skills took away the fun of the game, too much whines/cries/nerfs).

I already have enough "PvP" in real life, I dont need anymore playing my game tongue.gif

Speaking of gaming rigs, thankfully my 3 year old rig is decent enough to run FFXIV.

At standard requirements, I think its enough... dont want to spend any more since there's hardly any new games on PC nowadays that require such a high set-up.
