Woot i m quite surprise there is so many malaysian into ffxi here hahaah i also been playing ffxi on n off for few years...in fairy server
i recently just purchase ff11 collection edition...WHY? because i lost my treasure of aht urhgan Cd....cant install =/ very desperate! can lvl up to 80 now muahaha
btw i m forming a malaysia ls...call forsaken for now.
the purpose is to gather all the malaysian players together into one server =D i have posted in facebook and ffxivcore 2.
hope we can all join together n enjoy this game as much as i do in ffxi
let me tell some of the members here about ffxi heeh
ffxi the only big draw back is the party system..u have to party to level after lvl 15..only 1 job beastmaster ca solo till max lvl
the fun about ff11 is that u will enjoy lvling..i could lvl for 24/7 without feeling boring hoho..the skillchain combo between 2 melee job created a effect which can increase the spell dmg casted by mage..which is call magic burst..i think they will have this i ff14..i think so far SE is the only mmorpg that have this skillchain and magic burst stuff..
ff11 game is hard because skill can really make a big difference ..compare to a lot of mmorpg which only depend 90% on gear..
ff14 will be fun not only on lvling but on crafting..a lot of people wil spend a lot of time on crafting 2..very time consuming but very rewarding 2.
i will have a bunch of frens from subang jaya playing 2.
put me on the list for FF14!
btw i just bought ff11 collection edition from play asia...
i ordered online on afternoon 5....then at night status change to shipping already hahahha so fast..i wanted to cancel and buy it outside!
if my copy havent reach me on monday..whoever have the istallatio disc...PLS lend it to me!!!
finally cursed SE for not choosing me as a beta tester!!!

i think the cheapest we can get is from play asia..
they offer free shipping to malaysia...but might take 5 to 8 days ..
if u buy from amazon...the shipping charges is a lot..around 30+usd
also will take 3 to 5 days to deliver to malaysia ;/

YeAp amazon arounf 100++ but cheapest will be play Asia but now they still don't have perorder yet

well I m staying in cheras not that far from subang. If the ls thing is same as ff11 you can join a few ls I think is a cool concept.
Well my aim is to gather all the Malaysian player together so that we could actually all come out n chit chat about this exciting game once it is out.

Oh good man. The ls is really good for keeping everyone in touch and organizing events. I know having a lot of people in one guild is a bad thing. Always have a lot of emo or super childish people around. With ls we could easily manage some event together n have a point system for epic boss loot just like ff11.

Lol I can come find u.. Puchong is close. For ff11 I will even go genting n get it from u but I won't be back in kl until Saturday night so Saturday night get ready hahah I will come n find u. Currently I m playing rom indo server, just started 2 days .. The game is ff11 clone and a bit of wow alike graphic.

Added on July 22, 2010, 10:37 pmXD it might be boring for u to play ffxi 1 now because at low level not much people..but recent patch they came out with a mentor system which can let high level player to join low lvl party to lvl up..exactly how it work i still havent read up yet..it is something like high level players stats n equipment will auto downgrade to the low lvl player stats for lvling.
with this a lot of high lvl can help low lvl play =D.

Even in ff11 the health potion are very expensive n doesnt heal much..but in ff14 i think u will regen health after each battle lol...if i m not wrong

if you got time, this is the best game for u..since they improve everything from ff11 it will be good.
oh one thing i like about this ff11 is that u can contact their gm..a lot of game u cant even talk to gm..u can only msg them...
n Se really take action againts money trader..

omg now ff11 , if u r wearing lvl 80 gear..it will auto down grade to the level that u r being down grade..means now i can easily play with new players without the hassle of buying low level equipment n switching them lol..
now can help low lvl frens to lvl up =D yea...n all those low level places also no need to switch eq !

I think buying from amazon still the fastest.. Their delivery is good! But extra 30 plus usd getting ce plus the delivery time.. I might be able to play 3 to 4 days headstart unless the beta version can be upgraded to full version, them I can help everyone to save some money. I got fren in us which I can ask amazon to send the disc to them, n she will send me the cd key .
Hopefully beta version can be play directly without the original DVD installation.

Botanist is not a fighting class hahah..
The only fighting class is 7
4 melée 1 range 2 mages
other class is for gathering materials and crafting.
You can switch to any class as you like just by changing your weapon

Yeah from the current information.
The starting class is just that you will have that class starting equipment. And maybe some stats of that class
