QUOTE(herojack41 @ Oct 26 2011, 04:48 PM) good news !! so we dont need to paid for 7.5USD for the bloody courier fees! Sometime it's worth to pay that small amount of fee.. When you travel there will cost your petrol money, tol money, and time consuming.. I willing to pay the fee but unfortunately my area is not under the coverage service

http://news.cnet.com/8301-13924_3-20124201...apple-analysts/Other than the flood shutting down the hdd manufacturers, Nidec is submerged too Nidec supplies HDD motors and has 70% - 80% share of the HDD market It's reads as if all of Nidec's operations is in Thailand, I'm not very sure about that, but if that is true, then you can buy HDD now, sell off 2 months later and make huge profit

Other manufacturers based on other country have an incentive to charge higher, no way it's gonna just be WD. Gonna be an industry wide price hike, though, WD's prices might be higher than the rest due its larger exposure to the flood.

Last week , just below RM 190 . Samsung is made in China but the price increase faster than the Western Digital . Most Western Digital Hard Disc is made in Thailand
