not trying to be a buzzkiller here, but some hd channels by directv are just an upscaled version of SD channels, its still blurry.. for example VH1 HD... was able to examine the original stream of that channel.... quite silly i would say... wasting bandwidth for nothing

As a non Liverpool fan, I'm sad. He should have been retained, so that he can drag them further down next season.
So we'll no longer see Mr Benitez on ESPNHD next season. But possibly on ASSP HD, as Inter is interested in him..

I dun't mind to buy new HDD but monthly fee is to much.
Astro still can make a big profit although they dont charge us month fee for PVR.

I said earlier that the astro new website is cool..very lively
However alot of links is still not usable..
Try the upgrade package link..there is only one option of upgrading to the sports package..
I cant upgrade to other package..
Then for mix and match packages, u have to sign in and all..before this u can just try2 first..
N finally the link for subscribing to Byond isnt working either..
Jusdt to let u know..other than that, its looks hot!!!

about the EPG, is it my eyes or has the size of the EPG on Byond look smaller after the update to V2.0?
I mean the it looks a lot better now..especially the astro log..
n if i may..i would like to suggest to u or whoever has the ability and authority..
To change the astro logo on the EPG, to the logo of the channel being viewed..
U know what i Mean..? The astro logo with the black backgound change to show the logo of ESPN if I was veiwing the channel..
I think it would look a lot nicer..

What is the model - byond pvr- is it similar to Pace TDS865? 'cos i saw TDS865 has 2 digital audio output options, coaxial & optical.
Great! But only 320GB, should have been upgraded to 500GB, i guess.

Byond PVR only have one digital output. That is Digital Coaxial....

Well... HD channel use MPEG4, so it was common thing.

Hmm, btw, anyone here have received confirmation call from Astro or Installer regarding Installation of the new PVR??
I ordered my PVR 2 days ago from bro Cam..., but until now, still no confirmation call from Astro like my previous Byond.... I think, the queue list now sure getting longer... Hopefully can get it before WC kick-off...
