Yeah.......I have a WD 750G external hard disk bought about 2 years ago and if this can hook up to Byond and can do recording, then I will definitely go for it. No need to buy another WD HDD.

Now when I press the PLAY/REC/REW etc button..........it says PVR not functional because I dun have PVR yet.
And as what TAllJustin said........there is a new strectch called LB expand. But when I choose this LB expand,it still stretch until the Astro logo or Channel logo GONE !!!! Much lke last time the Zoom stretch. |

When I am in HD channel and I press the Fit-to-screen/PillarBox button, the selection is LetterBox/Fit-to-screen/CenterCut.....
What is this Center Cut option? Anyone notice that? Although there is no different in HD channel for this, but I wonder what is that............... |

QUOTE(lapaq @ Jun 2 2010, 01:06 AM) there's no cropping for fit to screen mode. Don't start pls. Spend some time first before concluding. I See.............But why it is only available in HD channel But in SD Channel, it is LB Expand..............i still wonder why............hehe.don't waste your time. I can assure only WD my passport AV works. You end up damaging the HDD and/or the box later baru tahu. Been testing both pvr and byond with wd hdd since the last 2 months so trust me. Added on June 2, 2010, 1:08 am centre cut is the old Zoom mode that was introduced for a very short time previously. Created a lot of hoopla that time. |

QUOTE(lapaq @ Jun 2 2010, 01:19 AM) blargh! My mistake, centre Cut is for hd only where the box cut the left and right part of the screen to show full screen on sdtv instead of letterboxes. No..........i am using a Panasonic Plasma HDTV.Ur using sdtv? Well, there is no different at all when I select these in HD channel. |

QUOTE(AjkR06 @ Jun 6 2010, 08:44 PM) Do you believe me if I tell you few years back..............when I was watching a movie on TV2 through Astro, suddenly in just 1 or 2 seconds, it showed a naked woman without wearing bra cheering something like that in a beach scene............and then disappeared and return to the movie.............Do you believe me?Well..........that's what I experienced before. |

I am now watching 831 SuperSports HD Live Rugby England vs France while waiting for World Cup 2010 Live England vs USA.
On 831 HD, the Astro Logo is more right than the one in World Cup HD Channel which everyone claimed that it is too near the middle. Surely Asstro engineer can do something about this, right? |

It seems like ESPN HD is cheating us!!!!
At around 10.00pm, when I switched on to ESPN HD, they are showing LIVE match of Kim Clijsters vs Znoavera quaterfinal match. Then, after few minutes later, I switched to ESPNEWS and it shows a RED BREAKING NEWS saying Venus Williams LOSTS in her quaterfinal match. And that was around 10.15pm Tuesday night. Thinking nothing wrong and good to receive the so-called BREAKING NEWS..... But then after watching all the others ladies quarterfinal matches on LIVE ESPN HD, they still never mentioned about Venus Williams match. NOW, after all the other ladies quaterfinal matches finished, they are SHOWING LIVE now of Venus Williams losing match LIVE NOW at 1.30am Wednesday. Thinking a bit strange and curious, I go online now and check the Wimbledon website, IT DID SAYS that Venus Williams match already finished and she already LOST !!! But now when I am still typing here, ESPN HD still showing it as LIVE match. Aren't that cheating us? Any comment? This post has been edited by victorwan: Jun 30 2010, 01:30 AM |

QUOTE(TallJustin @ Jul 7 2010, 10:31 AM) if you view the channel on a non 3DTV you will see a left and right split screen. So, if I use a simple 3D glasses with Red and Green lens, will it convert to 3D image to our eyes? |

Anyone notice that the Commentator in the FINAL MATCH of SPAIN vs HOLLAND in 3D channel and HD channel is different?
Also, anyone notice that some camera view is different also in 3D and HD? |
