Hmm.. I wonder why I didn't see any advertisement regarding Byond PVR and recording through external HDD on any astro channels or newspapers??

By the way, the "HD" logo in Astro Supersports HD World Cup channels is generated by the B.yond box. The "HD" is missing when I watched the HD channels in McDonalds; a white square box appears on the screen on the bottom right corner on these channels instead.

B.yond PVR can record in standby mode too.

Yes, using external hard disk can record in standby mode too. I have tested in recording WC Game Argentina Vs Chile the other day.

I have also tested recording two programs in two different channels in standby mode, one after the other. It works also.

Correct me if I am wrong - if i were to just get the WesternD HDD to use with my b.yond i will only be able to record and watch one channel at a time right? I will not be able to record one channel while watching a different channel?
