Pixelate problem or service currently not available problem?

Just removed my HD services and maintained only the PVR service.
And guess what, in one hour, it's all done! "good" job Astro!
and suprisingly, HDMI output still can be used until now.... or maybe they will deactivate it tonight... (hope not)

your channel 109 "@15" seems to have bad pixelation problem, you can check its signal condition, input 11182 V 30000 into custom entry point to check its transponder signal strength, my reading is 225, my channel 109 has no problem at all

however I do have some pixelation on discovery channel, I am suspecting that these new LNBs quality are very low, never had that problem using my old decoder with old dish

I also have sound problem in channel 314, the audio will sometime putus for a moment like jumping track when playing old vinyl record LOL, again never had that problem using old astro equipment

HD wld take sometime to be fully deactivated !

Is it better than before?

we need more info so that we can debug for you, input 11182 V 30000 into your byond box and tell us your signal strength reading

also did you use new or old cable?

New (8 month) one since first getting Astro.

and what is your signal strength for transponder 11182 V 30000?

It's 209 but only one moment. Cloudy too im my place now. Use #8 getting at 222-225.

I use HDMI output since day 1 even though I don't subscribe to HD.

Only RM10 one charge penalty because of downgrading package...
It only applies to those who are using BYOND PVR...
Normal Byond (regardless you connect external HDD or not) have one year contract...

HDMI port still alive? Still can watch HD recordings?

for the time being, HDMI port are still alive...
but I can't watch all of my HD recordings that is still kept in my PVR HDD

I was just about to come here and rant about what i saw but seems the news is already infiltrated here..! i was watching Nadi Arena (AStro's CRAPPY version of Sportscenter)..yeah i said crappy coz a lot of their presenters either mumble or just screw up a lot of words while reading the freakin news!!!

They had news on Liverpool..and then at the end of the news they put a graphic on the screen and it read..

With the exception of Jason Dasey who is decent (but not as good as John Dykes), Astro presenters sucks so much..look at them reading the news on Astro Arena..so many mistakes..

Added on July 23, 2010, 12:30 amJust to add on..if its not on ESPN, its not gonna be on ESPN HD too but Supersport HD right? I dont think Supersport HD can handle Serie A, La Liga, and now EPL..

n remember..before this astro said they wanna show all 380 EPL matches live..so could the new HD test channel be temporary channels on matchdays?
