The problem is that this is two buttons to press instead of one button.

Furthermore, you can only move forward but not backwards. And we have to be quick or else the banner disappear.

I remember the old Astro favourites button was easier to use.

at least we get lifetime warranty from astro.

1) Channel 305 TVBC i believe is facing time sync. The start time for shows starts at 22:08-22:53 for The Judge Pao. All subsequent show times are not at 1/2 hour or 1 hour mark. E..g 23:38-00:03, 00:03-00:53, etc

2) I still don't understand how the series linked work. When i select to record CSI series link on 21 July, Wed @ 22:05, how does the PVR book this and subsequent series?

I am having an audio discontinuity problem at channel 314, sound will pause momentary at random interval , very annoying, does this has anything to do with the byond decoder? sound for all other channels are good

f**k astro..randomly delete my recorded program on my PVR included WC Final and Upin/Ipin series for my children...
anyone experience this issue...

as stated, i still have 200++ hours left of hdd space, how can the hdd be full? unless the indicator is showing the wrong capacity of the hdd...

and not just me that have this prob, the deleted prog is not the last in my recorded list, and in some coincidence, the deleted prog is chuggigton from the cartoon network, just like Ramli...

I wished within end of this year, one 16:9 SD channel will come...

Did you ever watch the the show or was it a booking you made but have not yet had a chance to view it and then it disappeared?

Series links works by putting a unique ID against every episode of a series. If the decoder notices the same ID it knows it is the same episode and it will not record that unless the first attempt at recording failed.
When series links was first released I was not able to get episode specific information from a lot of the channels and the result was the IDs where triggering records of repeats.that lasted 1week, Today if I can't get the specific info from the channel then we will not enable a series link for that show. This is why it is still not available on all series programs yet, where it is available it will record the new episodes only and not record the same episode over and over.

Series link is a set and forget thing on B.yond. On max it did not exist at all. All you did was schedule a recording to happen at a time of you choosing. It was not linked to the Programme at all and essentially it was doing what a VHS recording would do, if you remember them?
On B.yond if the show moves slot the series link will know and record the show from it's new time slot without you needing to worry.

That translates to a 16:9 show letterboxed for a 4:3 signal. There is no broadcast format that is both 16;9 and letterboxed

Recordings going missing is something already there since Max, I bet assto cannot address this issue so dont bring it up..............u hv to live with it there is NO guarantee u recordings wl be protected

You think this is a hardisk or firmware problem?

Its Assto's problem but they wld deny it, all my Max recordings all got lost by itself , I hv not tested Beyond but it will happen, Pls note that Mr. Tall Justin was not able to give a definate answer earlier !

2 new HD channel in testing mode....2 new HD channel coming soon?? anyone can verify abt this especially ASTRO internal team. how long testing need to be done by astro b4 launching it?

During WC, one of those was suppose to be "buffer" for WC HD channel.

ic..i also notice that during wcup, got 1 channel for testing..i thought that one for channel 830 to show world cup in 3D

For series link....how will the series link will differentiate between CSI for current season with old season.

Lets say, I'm only want to record new CSI episode, season 10 , every Wednesday, weekly....
Let's say there is also CSI episode season 9 repeat with different episode everyday at 7.00 am

Will it only record CSI season 10 one time....or will it also record all the different episode including the season 9 one???
