It seems like ESPN HD is cheating us!!!!

At around 10.00pm, when I switched on to ESPN HD, they are showing LIVE match of Kim Clijsters vs Znoavera quaterfinal match. Then, after few minutes later, I switched to ESPNEWS and it shows a RED BREAKING NEWS saying Venus Williams LOSTS in her quaterfinal match. And that was around 10.15pm Tuesday night.

Thinking nothing wrong and good to receive the so-called BREAKING NEWS.....
But then after watching all the others ladies quarterfinal matches on LIVE ESPN HD, they still never mentioned about Venus Williams match.

NOW, after all the other ladies quaterfinal matches finished, they are SHOWING LIVE now of Venus Williams losing match LIVE NOW at 1.30am Wednesday.

Thinking a bit strange and curious, I go online now and check the Wimbledon website, IT DID SAYS that Venus Williams match already finished and she already LOST !!!

But now when I am still typing here, ESPN HD still showing it as LIVE match.

Aren't that cheating us?

Any comment?

Bro..like this la..its not to say its cheating..but more of a mistake on ESPN HD part's (or Astro or whoever is responsible) for leaving the 'LIVE' logo on the screen..The mistake is that..yes the match is over n not LIVE..but ESPN HD is getting the feed from Star Sports and the 'programme' is LIVE if not the match..Star Sports are the broadcasters..they are the ones that are showing the tournament programming LIVE..ESPN HD just picks up the LIVE programming feed..yup..the match was not LIVE..the programme was though..I also terkena..
But better next time juz check Star Sports if they have the LIVE logo or not then switch back to ESPN HD..ESPN HD LIVE logo will be on the screen from 7pm-2am..so hard to judge..Cheating? er..more to to bad errors la..

Whatever on assto wld be dfferent. Infact FX HD is a compilation and JV with starworld, all schedules were rearranged to make way for FX! To get international HD channels like FOX pls keep our fingers crossed ! We still wonder why is it so hard to start Discovery HD ! I am sure a deal did not go through,bcos they got so many strings attached ! So far most of their deals are with STAR network

not quite true... because this ESPN HD is playout by astro themselves... i still remember they played their own astro byond advertisement, with the ESPN HD logo in it.... so i'm quite sure that they are the ones controlling the channel/playout from astro's site... perhaps they have really forgotten to remove that LIVE word lol

Astro is always concern about big profit even though Ananda is one of the richest billionaire in malaysia.

Maybe discovery HD will be part of the '2 remaining HD' by end of the year ?

Did you guys notice there is the small logo wine glass shaped which comes and go on the top left each time at the begining of WC HD matches, wats that actually ?

As for anandha we cannot blame him he is a silent shareholder only he has no say on how they run it ! Content Providers are willing to come but when we control them they back off , most Asian regions hv Discovery HD long ago then wat could be holding Malaysia then the service provider itself ! As u say Learning Pack is flooded adding more wl make it too cheap for rm20 so must think of another way to put Discovery HD maybe !

Reliance & Airtel HD DTH in India does not have DSC HD World too but almost everyone has NGC HD.....sounds like Discovery is greedy and asking for a lot of money from operators.

yes i noticed that sometimes, it's the interactive page loading, after it fully loads it dissapears. Nothing to worry!

Can Astro put more some "screen saver type" on screen saver setting?

Personally, I will have an orgasm if Astro can introduce SciFi HD here but I am only dreaming so excuse me while I go to the toilet.
