Hi guys, I'm currently using Streamyx 1Mbps RM88 package and I'm looking to upgrade to 4Mbps Blockbuster package. This is my SNR and Attenuation shown on my modem page, after spending this morning doing my own rewiring to my house internal phone wires. Previously the SNR was very low, 25db for downstream and attenuation was high 40db for downstream before I rewired.

So do you guys think my line can support 4Mbps now?

from your modem screenshoots, if refer to Down/Upstream SNR Margin, it's OK & can support 4Mbps package, because my modem SNR Margin for Down/Up is about 33/25 and currently i'm using 4Mbps package without any disconnection/speed problem.

BUT if refer to your ADSL Mode = G.DMT = don't support 4Mbps line. TM need upgrade to ADSL2+, if you saw at modem status Mode = ADSL2+, you can register streamyx 4Mbps.
BUT for double check, just call 100 @ ask at TMPoint counter.

1.easy way - call 100
2.or go nearer TM point, ask at the counter, they will check your current streamyx phone number
3.easy if you know "how to" - enter modem management, check modem DSL status @ DSL statistics, if your find your DSL mode = ADSL2+, YES your area coverage with 4Mbps package

True enough I just called 100 to upgrade, they told me that there is no port available in my area for 4mbps.
Port only available for 1mbps mad.gif So disappointed. I just sent a PM to ahcheap, maybe he can do it for me

Anyone within Premium IP range noticed besides usual:

218.111.xxx.xxx
218.208.xxx.xxx
175.145.xxx.xxx

Just now I am also able to into:

124.13.xxx.xxx

Just came home today switch on PC & Internet, I thought oh man out of Premium IP range since keep getting 124.13.xxx.xxx first few tries, then tried several more times I am still able to get into 175.145.xxx.xxx as well as 218.111.217.xxx (Using this right now).

Finally, my Unifi is back up and running .. stupid CONtractor, they did a shoddy job, doing some 'maintenance' but didn't check everything was alright at the end of the day and left me without connection for 4 days. Good that TM/Unifi guys are competent lots .. troubleshooting and fixing the problem.

Unifi helpdesk called to close the problem ticket raised and raised a new billing ticket for the rebate for me.. good to know that I don't need to write any letter to them.

i need some opinion/advise from all sifu here.

i just upgrade & activated 1Mb streamyx package to Blockbuster 4Mb package by TM last week.

the weird thing happen if i use the router (TM6841G) given by TM always can get 4Mb~4.3Mb randomly each connection and dl speed can reached 400~450KB but have one issue is the router will sure hang randomly in one to few hour and no connection at all. i try to call the TM technician to change the router and the result also same.

If i switch back my existing router Aztech DSL605EW (support up to 26Mbps) will no such problem even running more than 48 hours but the router detect my port at 2.6~3.2Mb max.

May i know the problem is the router or my port.
Any comments/solution from yours is appreciated.

Meanwhile, belows is my Aztech/TM router status
