QUOTE(AjkR06 @ Mar 24 2011, 02:30 PM) It seems that you're having a problem for your port located at DSLAM... Red "F" symbol... it should be green F... F means you're connected to fiber DSLAM... already inform the installer bout this but he said everything has been done and asked me to wait within 1 week to achieve 4mbps speed.. i called 100 they said the jumper not done yet but at time the installer test his acc on my line it able to get the 4mbps speed by using his acc.. what should i do?

QUOTE(AjkR06 @ Mar 24 2011, 04:43 PM) Wait for one week, then if after one week you're still stuck at 1Mbps, then you need to make a complaint to MCMC or CFM.... Based on your problem now, I can see that there is a bad communication between technician and TM side... Technician and TM said different things.... Your port already set into 4Mbps, but they still not do the update in system. Probably that's why TM still not upgrade your account to 4Mbps.... im just called 100 again and this time they check everything was ok except my acc profile still at 1mbps not 4mbps and they said this is no their problem. They asked me to tell the installer to change the acc profile to 4mbps then i called the installer they said just wait within 1 week for the system to change the acc profile. So who is control the system?

QUOTE(zftrans @ Mar 31 2011, 03:34 PM) Hi guys, I'm currently using Streamyx 1Mbps RM88 package and I'm looking to upgrade to 4Mbps Blockbuster package. This is my SNR and Attenuation shown on my modem page, after spending this morning doing my own rewiring to my house internal phone wires. Previously the SNR was very low, 25db for downstream and attenuation was high 40db for downstream before I rewired. So do you guys think my line can support 4Mbps now? upgrade to 4mbps from this guys, nationwide http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=934244&hl=fast service. no need waste ur time go to tmpoint.. in my case, i went to tmpoint 3 times and they said my area not support,no port, bla2.. then after applied from him..within 2 days installer came to my house to check my line. now enjoying 4mbps no prob.
