Even Kepong in the future will be better than DPC.

True. Can't deny DPC is a good project.

But too bad there is no shopping mall there and no MRT connectivity in the future. (ALSO BIG THUMB DOWN) for such a big neighborhood. Pity the residences there have to drive all the way out to shop.

I don't think dpc nangs want mrt in their township.

stay priced homes, drive luxurious cars still need MRT? how people know you are rich when you don't show off your cars but ride MRT?

How about KLCC, Bukit Bintang, TRX and Bandar Malaysia? More ATAS people than DPC. Mostly multi-millionaires..

So don't need MRT stations? Singapore don't need MRT Stations?

Wah your standard is really mediocre.

Do you think the MRT Sri Damansara East station is to get the DA people out? Definitely no!

It will build beside the project. How about DPC? Any line there?

Don't be silly ok ...especially as a senior forumer here.

Don’t quite agree you on this . Let’s be constructive and open . DA can’t even say close to Midvalley . Location wise mid valley always have locals and tourist crowd , very sustainable .
Kepong spending power still not so high , even those can spend will rather travel down to 1U or PJ which is one toll away .

TA as a developer in Malaysia track record I’m not so convinced still . Look at the master plan of DA , how many years already now only consider phase 2 ?

Multimillionaire buy but not staying . It can be second home , holiday home , mistress home whatever . Or can we say trophee collection . MRT can be beneficial for Expats or renting on these high end condos let’s say .
Look at Tropicana Gardens KD . The MRT worked pretty well. But who make use the MRT mostly ? Not the owners.

TA Global’s Ativo Suites 80% taken up
Ethel Khoo

The Edge Malaysia

TA Global Bhd’s two-tower Ativo Suites — the second residential development within its Damansara Avenue project in Bandar Sri Damansara — has seen a combined take-up of 80% since its launch in 3Q2017.

Tower B, which was previewed in the second to third quarter last year, is 95% sold, while Tower A, which was opened for sale during the official launch this year, is 65% sold.

“The response has been very encouraging thus far despite the soft property market and Ativo Suites’ high selling price. It is the highest benchmark in its location. We are very happy that the product is well received by the public,” says general manager Lee Yen Foong.

Damansara Avenue was first launched in 2010 and revamped when it was announced that a mass rapid transit station — part of MRT Line 2 — would be located opposite the development. The new master plan was unveiled last year.

Lee says TA Global is in the advanced stage of planning for the next phase of Damansara Avenue — Ativo Annexe, a 15-acre mixed-use development that will feature a mall, office towers, residential towers, a college, a medical centre as well as senior living apartments. It will be connected to the upcoming Sri Damansara East MRT station via a pedestrian link bridge.

Rehash of the current (circa 2017) Damansara Avenue master plan, with emphasis on proposed and existing access roads to LDP, DUKE2, MRR2, Sri Damansara ring road, exit to Desa Parkcity roundabout, Jalan Sungai Buloh, and MRT2 direct access point

God knows when all these "proposed" highways will be done. I don't see any work started on these highways

Any other projects that TA failed to deliver on promises? Curious. I see TA as cash rich, cautious, and intending to push big into property, judging by their refocus back into Malaysia, the listing of their property arm, and their announcement of the intention to build a new 'disruptive' hotel brand and concept, and their property arm CEO. All happened in 2017-now, which matches the timing of the reimagining and revision of the Damansara Avenue master plan

Yeah, I heard about Damansara Avenue has been 9 years coming. But then again I think it's because of MRT2. TA is smart to see the opportunity. They revised the whole DA concept, rebranded it DA, even revised ATIVO in the process, so their intention is clear.

It'll be a misopportunity if TA don't develop DA in the next 10 years, DA being in the midpoint of KL and PJ and the north and Genting, with MRT2 coming online in 2021, with the Empire City having gone South, the Empire brand being soiled, the Harbour Valley joint ventures (....), the Damansara Perdana area being unsustainable (accessibility and traffic Vs ppl density), and even the potential buy back and dismantling of the LDP toll in the years to come, only a fool will miss the opportunity. There really isn't any competitors nearby with the same USP.

The only issue with DA is the existing Sri Damansara exit point which will not sustain even more traffic. Hence, it's logical for TA to provide DA with more access points in some point of their development of DA in order to kill that notion of bad traffic. I also forsee only good things to come as future generations of Malaysians to embrace public transport. (already the indicators are there in consumer research)

My five cents. Fingers crossed. I am thinking of buying for own stay. So I'm optimistic and bullish.

ultimately you are potential buyer, and not developer.
cash rich doesnt mean they are really to burn the cash.

another shopping mall in this mall crowded LDP? Empire City said everything will be finished by end 2020 leh......

name me one place where MRT already bought up the place to boom.
