8ms is kinda a turn off

i use to think that response time la, crt better la for gaming, and few more typical gamers worried mind..but at the end of the day when i bought my dell 2707 and my samsung 40 inch lcd to games all those thinking bout crt or watsoever just disappear especially once you immerse in your gaming experience..

perhaps you should buy those LCD TV with fast motion engine (100hz or 200hz)
the effect is even better than CRT

TV with 100Hz - 200Hz... also know as fake generated/artificial rate (in the market now/past year)... Real 3d capable TV are being introduced now, these are truly high frequency displays (cost arm/leg/kidney), though lacks media/hardware a.t.m.

True 120Hz monitors are the TN types capable for 3d gaming/movie.....

so you mean those what we can see in the demo units are faked because the video shown in the demo is artificial rate ?

gamers should go for faster response, it's all u need~ although it may be a marketing gimmick, response time is still pretty standardized; grey to grey~ why don't u check out some LCDs at a shop, but make sure u play games on it to experience it~ another factor is how large the screen is; the larger it is, the further u have to sit away from it, otherwise, u would have effect of not enough refresh rate (here we go again)~

anyway, someone's selling ST2210 for RM560 with 3 years warranty, I think it's worth it and suitable size for gaming~

yes, I think CRT has best refresh rate~ big 40inches is for PS3, not PC gaming due to the need to stay at least 1m away~

Full HD is 1920x1080p, 21.5" can get full HD~ probably check garage sales, someone's selling ST2210 for RM560 with 3 years warranty~

are they confirmed Samsung panels or panels from other sources?~
