i use to think that response time la, crt better la for gaming, and few more typical gamers worried mind..but at the end of the day when i bought my dell 2707 and my samsung 40 inch lcd to games all those thinking bout crt or watsoever just disappear especially once you immerse in your gaming experience..

TV with 100Hz - 200Hz... also know as fake generated/artificial rate (in the market now/past year)... Real 3d capable TV are being introduced now, these are truly high frequency displays (cost arm/leg/kidney), though lacks media/hardware a.t.m.

True 120Hz monitors are the TN types capable for 3d gaming/movie.....

if you use TN panel, smaller in size doesn't actually annoy you.

but as you brought a bigger monitor that uses TN panel. it will soon gonna annoy you because of viewing angle.

when you're using the TN panel monitor with a proper distance use. it's not really a problem.

but when you use it like you're viewing a normal small size monitor(short distance viewing, example of 30~40cm between eye and screen). The colour on the left and right side will annoy you, because colour will be shifted a little unless you put your monitor futher away to solve this issue.
