It's a standard TN Panel WLED backlit monitor,it's thin and bright but the colours aren't really accurate plus the adjustments that can be made to the stand is too little.imo,it's really hard to beat the Dell U2311H at RM599 [normal price is RM709 but ask the few guys who got it for RM599 here on how to get it at that price.
same explanation as above,though the PX2370 does use better than usual TN panel,but imo it sitall can't beat the eIPS panle U2311H at RM599/709.If you are still adamant on getting these Samsungs,get the PX2370

is Dell U2311H suitable for console gaming (PS3/xbox360)?

I just bought LG W2343T today replacing old Samsung 740BF. Going from 17" to 23" widescreen is a huge upgrade

The stock color setting is warm but just set it to sRGB neutralize it, and I'm happy to report the color is very accurate for a TN panel. The reviews around the web confirms this One thing I like is it uses matte instead of the more common glossy display that prone to reflection

finally done upgrade from square 17' square monitor to 24' widescreen full HD monitor..
currently i using DELL S2409W..

i use dvi for my desktop..
and HDMI for my laptop(XPS)..

but i found out..the dvi is more clearer then HDMI from laptop..
it is because of graphic card of laptop??
or the monitor settings??

AFAIK only this monitor provide more than 1080p for 27" monitor, at a blazing 2560x1440.

Games - U2711 better in all games except those that can utilize two individual monitors eg. Supreme Commander. I don't think you'd want to play with bezels sitting on your crosshair in a fps...

Then again, you could buy 3 U2311s instead of a U2711 (3 U2311s are similar price) to alleviate such issues and combo with nv surround or ati eyefinity...

ST2321? TN, I guess it's a normal monitor if you don't mind. If you're very budget and yet want better than normal monitor, then U2311H, good for typical yet better than normal TN panel. Some people on this topic can get this monitor for RM600 with 5 YEARS!! premium warranty, if it's not cheap enough, I don't know what to say.
U2311H is already hot topic in this thread.

U2311H is entry IPS, U2711 however is the real deal if you're into design (serious pro), it has better IPS parts than the little brother, higher resolution in one screen.
In the end, it's all depends on person, some like it one big screen, some don't mind to get many small one to eyefinity or nvision them together, you can buy three U2311H or maybe four depends on the negotiation from the U2711 price.

what about 220WA dell ultrasharp?

2209wa is the older bro of the U2311H....Mine came last saturday and ever since I'm hooked to it every day [my former CRT samsung 17"]....it's also one of the 1st IPS panel from DELL and former best [2009] ..[maybe until today ha ha ha]...anyway the display is sharp & gorgeous, colours are very rich, easy to adjust [position of monitor], very sturdy built and of high quality......for gaming its a blast.....also very good for movies despite the 16:10 ratio [i dont mine lo]......and I think the U2311H also good la ...now like sells pisang goreng..price also gila-gila....anywy...gd hunting bro
