frankly speaking, those website is not very helpful. the best way is look on the bus stop around the area u are looking for. they are heaps of advertisement there and u can find some that deal with owner directly yo save the 1/2 month agent fees.

DBS/POSB is like maybank in Singapore, they got the most ATM and can do most things in Singapore via NETS.
but even they have the most ATM in Singapore (3 machine on most MRT station). the queue is also the longest.
you can try UOB or OCBC. but if u want foreign bank. Citibank has the most ATM (I am using this after getting fed up with queue on DBS ATM).

It also depends on your convenience. Some companies may even have a certain Bank's ATM in their building. Of course, due to this, it is the most convenient to open an account with that bank.

That is M1 take 3 plan, where u can use it for 2 years for free and the phone doesn't belong to you at the end of the contract.
Besides take 3, I'm pretty sure u will have ownership of the phone

Arrggh.. .wtf...

Today i go collect my iPhone reservation 32GB, encounter so much problem

No more stock on 32GB, been offered 16GB, which is fine...

and then, been informed the corporate rate... and for corporate, i will need not to pay the registration fee and the micro sim fee...

and then, problem started, because i am using S-Pass, i need to pay $363 for the phone! for  iPhone Lite Plan, which monthly $56 ( not corporate price )

I was been told, iPhone Lite plan $56 or iPhone Extreme $98, both same, have to pay fixed price, $363~ that Cs told me all carrier is the same, even if i go to other carrier like singtel or starhub.. she even told, S-Pass is special pass, that's why got "special" price... wtf...~~~

i was so furious, was never been told...

That customer service at the center told, if i was using work permit, then i have to pay $800 deposit ? wtf...

Now i regret never ask my company to rectify and change to EP.... arrgh...

to make my dissappointment, i travel to Singtel ComCentre, i double check, triple check, no need pay any other fee, even thought am S-Pass... just need to pay for the registration fee and the micro sim card fee, and the phone itself for the plan i want..~ in the end.. make a reservation with singtel.. ( have to wait again sad.gif )

sigh....

M1 is it? The corporate plan is it they fixed 20% off for all plan? Cos when I called, they said discount for Keppel group of companies for iPhone Plan is $44.8 (from normal $56). But my friend on Take 3 said his monthly payment got discount nearly 50%. Different rates for different sort of plans?

So far I have no problem with the agent. The only thing is that you will have to be careful with them. Some do recommend you some really weird place and pressure you to sign up. Giving reason if you don't a lot of people are waiting, etc. Also I am not sure if they do jack up the price of the place or not. I have a friend whose agent ask him to sign for 2 years!!!! so the agent can get a grand nice juicy one month fees from both side!

last year and beginning of this year my company is aggressively hiring people. but they slow down a little this year. my company ranks no 1 in the employer of choice survey for Singapore grad. you can still try to apply but not sure what IT field you are interested in. my company in Singapore is more towards call center type of job. if you are looking for those sitting in office and support end user type, i don't think its suitable for you. there is a lot of company hiring as i still receive a lot of calls from head hunters but all are call center jobs. Mayb is due to the experience i have in this field.

Yes, plenty.

But whether you get employ, depends on your expected salary, education level, certification and experienced.

silly question about renting. Could I bargain the price with them? In certain countries, the chance to bargain a bit low.
