Meaning the only way to get back ur CPF when u're AT LEAST 50 years old. How much CPF we can get back? Only OA and SA but not MA?
The other way is to no longer be a resident of West Malaysia. Then you're treated like anyone else who gives up Singapore PR.

OA, SA and MA... all still your money what.

Any idea how they determine whether you reside in west or east malaysia? Can I just tell them im going to stay at east malaysia then i can get full cpf refund. As malaysia is not control by them tho? lolz

I'm been told that only OA and SA can be refunded. MA is burned. If you not claiming any medical services, you wont getting any single cent from MA at the end of the day. Is that true? Any supporting?

They'll just look at your Malaysian IC, driving licence and passport etc - if you say you have moved to East Malaysia. If you say you have moved to the US etc, then you should have a US green card to prove it.

You'd have to ask whoever told you that.

I think the retention of MA only applies to Singapore residents who reach retirement age and decide to withdraw their CPF. The MA is retained for medical expenses and insurance since you're still here.

For people leaving Singapore permanently, I don't think this applies.

If they based on IC, i think the address stated in the IC can always be changed easily. Temporarily "park" the address to any friend staying east malaysia and after get the cpf then transfer back again.
anyone try b4?
lol

You do know that the agreement to form the Federation of Malaysia included safeguards where West Malaysians cannot work or reside permanently in East Malaysia without getting permission from their state govts, right?

yes, they can sack u because since u just work for 2 month and u are still under probation. The company can either sack u and compensate u or they will ask u to resign.
