I don't think a cleaner is earning more than that but they can survive. Not that I ask you to be a cleaner but the pay is a bit low for an IT job.

nope, u can survive but not much savings. i am surviving with around $1k a month.

Not quite the response i had expected, but fair enough.

I've tried the site, but the filter is useless.
Despite choosing only hdb/hudc, price range between 1.2k to 1.4k and whole unit critereas, the result still comes out with condo, price below 500 and rooms (instead of whole unit).

What do you think are the chances of getting fully furnished whole unit, 10mins walking distance to MRT + less than 40mins MRT ride to Raffles at prices below 1.5K?

I earn that kind of salary before when I was single, bus ride start from 30 cent and people were using pager. Still can give mom RM1k/ month.

Before I start work, I survived with much less than S$1k Those time are memmorable.

More like late 80's to early 90's. Mid 90's people started using the "contractor" phone.

Then the alcatel phones which used 4 AA batteries.

white card at airport is it the same with white card at woodlands/tuas check point?
i need to provide information of my short term visit pass for HR to apply working pass. but i am not holding any short term visit pass now only got a blank white card....
information needed are:
Disembarkation/embarkation code, Date of short term visit pass issued, no of days stay, short term visit pass expiry date.
what should i give? i'm not even in singapore....

Yes.

White card = short term visit pass
Your company needs the info on the white card (code, date issued, no of days stay) to do online registration with MOM.
You only have that info once you're in SG and the white card is stamped.
