hi all, if looking for some job opportunity for a US MNC in Singapore:-

Some basic Requirements:-
1) Can speak Mandarin & Cantonese fluently
2) At least 2 years Customer Service/Call Centre experience

Can expect >$2.5k-3k (rough guess), and no shift work. (Mon-Fri). This is a call centre customer service job, but i can say its not as hectic as most centres out there. <personally i think it's a great environment>

PM me for further details. Non Singapore Citizens/ non PRs is fine.

Wow, you have to spend RM10,000 a year to get RM50 in rebates @0.5%.
*
better get UOB one card then... spend $900 3 months consecutively, get $90 back (or spend $300 for 3 mths to get $30 back)... but only these 2 tiers available.

best rebate program so far unless u spend much much more than $900 a month.

basic low, no allowance, variable bonus(not stated, maybe super high, prolly super low) and yearly increment, how to confirm its worth to take it? they giv answers like bonus vary, should it be stated in the contract?
*
doesnt sound good... best to have higher basic, but should also ask the employer approx how many months variable bonus assuming average worker (won't be stated in contract la).

If his basic is low, you really cant expect the employer to give a fantastic bonus amount.

never know ma... company adopt low overhead, but if got good profits, then can return to employees as variable bonus

it's better to get agent if pay half consider very good as agent will help you settle everything including the tenant agreement...no matter how..you need to pay the $$$...that's the pre-requisite to get job in sg.
*
guys, please get a reliable agent. before the deal, please make sure you get a namecard and everything is nicely posted in black & white. If renting HDB unit, please make sure "owner" has the documents to prove he owns the property. Also ensure he is allowed to sublet his unit & registered with HDB.

I am going through nightmare with an agent (i believe not registered) because of a recent bad deal. They owe me 2 months (!) and avoiding calls vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif

Hi all,
I'm also going to work in sg in august. Working in Jurong and planning find a room somewhere in Clementi/Queenstown/Buona Vista/Redhill. Don't really want to stay with landlord either. Any one of you (not landlords) who are planning to get an apartment on a shared basis?
Kindly PM me.

what will be the cheapest hdb flat if renting the whole unit?
*
i'm paying $1350 excluding utilities for a 2 bedroom flat... (1 door locked) but 3 minutes walking distance to MRT and rather near City Hall.

So far if want cheap, then need to be further away from city smile.gif

also cheaper to rent whole unit with a few rooms maybe in toa payoh area, then share with chio bu or other guys (depends on your cup of tea) on www.easyroommate.com.sg brows.gif

what is the condition of the cheapest HDB Flat (RM 1.3K -1.5K) . Does it look very hectic with high density of people? very noisy ? last time i went to one of my friend apt and there got no security but so safe and so quiet . people really behave and respect silent at night .

if penang, sure noisy one if living in those apartment in air itam or even any places with medium cost apt.
*
some can be quite hectic, but some can be quite quiet... depends on you.. i'd prefer "hectic" as it means there's a lot of amenities around within walking distance... for me, best if near food, supermarket, etc, etc... then opt for the higher floors so that you are further away from the ground level.... and yeah.. its not really noisy at all... biggrin.gif

QUOTE(Aloong @ Jul 8 2010, 04:17 AM)
Looks like a pretty good deal.

What's the rational for the lock room?

Just to check, so far i saw a lot of non-common conditions/terms given by landlord for room rental folks, such as limitaion on taking baths / air cond / washing machine.

Any non common conditions / terms for whole unit rentals experienced here?
What kind of terms / conditions that is non-common in KL?
*
wah if i see limitaion on taking baths / air cond / washing machine and is staying with the landlord, i die die won't move in. i haven't seen such written T&Cs like that before... normally is verbal.

QUOTE(darkages @ Jul 8 2010, 10:48 AM)
Loophole it may be. Once your neighbour convince HDB that the owner indeed rented out the whole unit and is staying at another place, prepare to pack your bags.
*
no worries! that's normally the case, but mine is approved to sub-let. the locked room is used as the owner's storeroom.

I've tried the site, but the filter is useless.
Despite choosing only hdb/hudc, price range between 1.2k to 1.4k and whole unit critereas, the result still comes out with condo, price below 500 and rooms (instead of whole unit).

What do you think are the chances of getting fully furnished whole unit, 10mins walking distance to MRT + less than 40mins MRT ride to Raffles at prices below 1.5K?
*
u need to scroll to the bottom table la.. because the top table are the "priority" advertisements that stay there no matter what filter you use...

try again la... $1500 can definitely get you a 1+1 unit near town & mrt...
