At the risk of repeating what ck77 has already informed you...

The listed price includes VAT, if your shipping address is outside of EU the VAT does not apply, which means you save 19% on listed price.

The new Pilot models (at least the Miyota version which I purchased) come with 2 straps, the standard plus pilot strap. See my short review here:

Make use of the contact section and ask them. IMO the most convenient and safe payment method is Paypal, but you still need a credit card.

Point to note..even the normal debit card with Visa feature like Maybank ATM Debit card can be used for paypal...or any online transaction... so...basically you dont really needs to have a credit card......if you do own an ATM Debit card with Visa feature from any local bank..like Maybank... biggrin.gif

Looks like a pocket watch to me, except the dial is upside down.
I think, for better accuracy, battery operated quartz watches are better for nurse work.

Dear all pros and amatuers,

I was thinking to get a 3-5k mechanical watch preferrably ORIS range.
Any recommendation ?

I like the design of TT3 day date series with rubber straps.
Any one that own this model care to shed some lights ?

Thanks in advance and the information in this thread was very challenging for newbie like me to digest.

Oris ...you cant go wrong...but neither it is a spectacular brand....
With your budget..perhaps compare a bit more wider.......Ball, Fortis...I assume you like Formula 1...some think Tag's F1 series are actually good representative of racing watches....although some might not like the quartz models...
If you're a bit more adventurous, try look into Laco, Stowa, Steinhart...Even the lower priced Christopher Ward has gotten people excited here...

You'll learn 2 important things here in this forum

1. never spend on designer watches.

2. buy what you like. Listen to opinions, etc, visit websites, see photos, and go for one that will capture your heart. It took me 6 months to zoom down to my Sinn U1 and i am still madly in love with it...

all the best..

Usually those designer watch is made from China and over priced. If you don't mind, then go ahead.

I think you have to set the date at the end of each month. It's easy with the quick set feature.
