i saw it going for around RM1500 to 1600, depending where you asked. But the lowest i saw was from lelong.com, at 1360. i plan to use this as sort of a beater watch everyday, while i save up and find a vintage explorer. I do have a seiko kinetic that looks quite similar to the tissot tho.

One of the few Tissots that I like, very classy. With similar price range and look, you might consider Mido as well.

A very thorough review of the Visodate.

(Like some of you, this is the first Tissot that caught my eye... but the case back is snap on!)

I could probably get the explored for around 7 to 10k. Depending on condition. Btw, a lot of places have sold out on the silver visodate.

pre own explorer ~1980s closer to 10K.

Yeah but I don't think I'll be able to find one that is satisfactory so fast. Besides I probably need to have another watch to rotate, else my employer is going to think they pay me too much. Haha.

oh.. U not wearing any watch now?

white dial in steel is very popular. retails at US$650 or ~RM2k. if can get 30% still at ~1.4K.
http://www.shoptissot.com/product/T0194301605100.html

can get a popular CW C5 auto for ~1k or the UHR for ~900.
vintage explorer is not easy to come by esp something U rate as satisfactory.
in any case prices of vintage prices also go up in price (inflation and demand) so expect a 5-10% increase every yr.
don't think its used it stay at 7k yesterday and 10yrs from now, more likely it will become 12-14K 10yrs later.

u may wanna check with CK77 where he find his vintage rolex.
our friendly neighbor does have a forum on rolex, maybe they can show U the way.

didn't realise those ETA 2893-2 movement can be found real cheap.
esp the STEINHART GMT-OCEAN 1 under 1.4k
the rest like CW go for ~2K, Ocean7 go for ~1.9K

Hello people, What kind of automatic watch can I get for the price of RM400-RM500? I've heard about Orient being one of the affordable ones. What else is within this budget? It seems that I can't find any Orient dealers around. Can anyone help me with this?

If you're looking for Orient watches, there are a few shops in Sungei Wang selling them. smile.gif
