Hey guys appreciate some advice in helping me choose my next purchase.
Saw a CW C40 Speedhawk going for around USD500. I have always wanted an automatic chrono, and this model comes with the ETA 7750 which is a real plus point. The Speedhawk is definitely one of the most affordable models with 7750. On the other hand, I've caught on the Flieger fever and have really grown to admire the design of B-uhrs. The Laco Flieger with Miyota movement strikes me as a perfect balance between having the classic flieger design and an attractive price to go with. This model is selling for ~200 Euro. I am not sure if the 2011 models will have one with Miyota movement and whether the price range will still be the same, so tempted to go for the plunge on this one. Watch fund is running low and I can only get one for now. Would be great if you could provide comments on which one it should be and why. Thanks! ![]() ![]() |

USD 500 sure is cheap...it is USD750 if you buy from CW directly...and currently the have glitches on their website...the prices are lower than the actual current price..

QUOTE(fuzzy @ Sep 10 2010, 01:00 PM) Stowa definitely wins in terms of design, but quality wise I'd side with Tissot simply due to the nature of the Stowa beign a leather strap. It would take more care to protect it from wear and tear, and it otherwise not suitable for everyday usage. Yeah... That's what i'm thinking to. As for the 2 watches, which will be more value for money? Stowa or Tissot? Thanks. |

QUOTE(nando @ Sep 10 2010, 08:30 PM) CW website had some problems for 2-3 hours this afternoon...prices displayed were those 1 year ago...so about 40-50 pounds cheaper... but they realized it and change it back fairly quickly...can you imagine...c40 speedhawk at 420pounds with free alligator strap upgrade...compared to 468 pounds now... |

QUOTE(@udio_jr @ Sep 9 2010, 11:20 PM) Hi guys, need your suggestions. Between the 2 watches below, which one do you think is better? In terms of design and quality. What is the price of PRC200?[attachmentid=1773559][attachmentid=1773560] The left one is Stowa Antea 365 and the right one is Tissot PRC200 automatic. Kindly give some comments, thanks. |
