Design wise im with tissot but somehow i like the exclusivity of CW as its less 'popular' compared to tissot. Tissot is like everywhere biggrin.gif

Comments?i'm 25 and my sister commented CW C9 design as 'too old' for me wink.gif

Tell her it's a timeless classic that you'll be wearing in years to come as opposed to something trendy that will look so 2009 next year

try Moments by city chain at sunway pyramid...

this watch is nice... the Epos Sportive collection model 3389oh ...like the one with heard at 12o'clock...
and the price not too expensive for a swiss automatic watch.... below RM3k after discounts..
but wonder whether is suitable to wear to work with long sleeve shirts &tie.. brows.gif

hi bearbear...from Liverpool forum jump until here? hehehe

i will go for Tissot...because i have 2...coming to 5 years old...absolutely no problem....

but if you dont like common factor (people may have same watch) then go for the CW).

but then, dont listen and take 100% what people say when come to watches..we can listen to opinion but at end, you make the choice....because u will wear it and see the dial...get what pleases your eyes...and what will please you for long time...

patryn suggested Stowa and Archimede...

i also suggest Steinhart.......

google for watchuseek forum and visit the Steinhart forum...not too bad...
also, someone from MAlaysian watch forum just brought a Steinhart....since you show 2 models with white dials, you may like it too...

nando, it can't be always be about football...btw i had bought more than enough jerseys here tongue.gif

Had a brief look through Stowa and Steinhard, i like the marine design and both brands look quite similar but the price differences is kinda big

example

Stowa Marine Original

STEINHART MARINE CHRONOMETER II

Both using the same movement (Unitas 6498)

Stowa - 870 Euro
Steinhart - 370 Euro

that's 500 Euro difference hmm.gif

the workmanship on Stowa is nicely done with a swan neck regulator.
its not easy to find 6498 on swan neck regulator at a good price, those tourby watches on same movement on swan neck cost over EUR$1.1K.
I was hunting for a swiss pocket watch movement with a swan neck regulator too at 1 pt, but I have yet to find anything lower than US$500.

from what I gather Steinhart most likely is using Standard grade. Stowa typically uses Elabore grade but they regulate it again to their specs.
Stowa is 1 of the few companies that disassemble the movement for inspection, maybe its redundant to do so. The extra labor adds cost.

bernhart watch maybe 1 of the cheapest watches with a Unitas 6497, but movement isn't decorated
