but i read somewhere that if u get rejected,it is best to apply at next 3 months..there is no point to apply other bank because they will check/access credit or application record and they will reject u again without put a consideration :/
*
That is if u were to apply again at the same bank..i do doubt that banks track your application records with other banks..i applied for 3 banks, which got rejected..then instantly i applied for 2 banks..both banks approved my cc application..and it my first 2 cc..

unless of course if you got a bad credit rating.. blush.gif

I agreed on this. Their i.pay plan!

Apparently, their 0% interest BT promo has been extended to September 2010.

Sad to hear that. I'm not aware of this.

Thanks for pointing out.

oversea bank? meaning singapore? if singapore then you as a foreigner need to have a min annual income of sgd60,000 to qualify.
for example, here's the tnc from s'pore citibank:-

• You must be aged 21 years old and above
• Earn a minimum annual income of S$30,000 (s'pore citizen or pr)
• For foreigners, minimum annual income to qualify is S$60,000 (foreigner with s-pass, ep, pep, etc.)

Actually it's for the sake of conveniences. I got MBB CC for this sake of this purpose since my salary goes into MBB. Easy to make payment even tough I have DA with me.

Good ratings cause they're quite generous with their credit limit. Which can be a double-edged sword if you're not disciplined whistling.gif

I personally keep MBB Amex, MC DA & Visa cherry to collect points / get discounts.

Slight add on to this info. For HSBC somehow they do track your application with other banks.
If you apply 3 cards at the same time and one of them is HSBC ... HSBC auto throw your application to the trash can.

So outstanding credit for credit card means our credit limit or our current balance?

Same question for OD facility.
