Are you using HSBC CC?
I cancelled my HSBC recently because twice they replace my card (first time because I lost my card, second time because my card expired). Both times, I waited weeks and weeks for it. Call them numerous times, and they asked me to be patient because they're sending by normal mail. The last time I called, I asked them "What kind of 'normal mail' that need to wait for more than 4 weeks?!" Did some search online and found that I'm not the only one having this problem with them.

Anyway, back to the topic, I'm looking for a new CC to apply now and wonder what are the good options. I don't need much credit limit but I'm concern about the CC provider's security (less fraud, duplicate cases etc..), overseas recognition & most importantly a 24 hours accesible call center (RHB sux at this).

Is Citibank Airasia good?

Yeah, which is why I still can't decide whether to take Citibank Airasia or not. Still worth the try?

By the way guys, i just realized there actually are additional perks for using a Platinum card. Many have been arguing that it is all plastic and i used to think the same way too. There actually is a difference. It's kind of rare though.

I just found out that VISA has this ongoing promotion with Eraman Flying Emporium Chocolate shop at KLIA. All Platinum VISA cardholders will be entitled for 10% discount while Gold VISA cardholders get 5% off. Classic VISA cardholders unfortunately get nothing.

Any reason why it's not applicable?

im using CIMB petronas credit card with RM4000 credit limit...supposedly if im already use RM 2,662.23, i still have RM1337.77 that i can utilize right? but when i checked my account online, the below particular came out:

Combined Credit Limit :RM 4,000.00

Present :
Outstanding Balance :RM 2,662.23
Credit Available :RM 259.00
Current Amount Due :RM 2,662.23

credit available means the amount that i can use right? shouldn't the amount is RM1337.77?

I'm a 23 yo working adult seeking which CC to apply.

What I'm looking for is:

1) Flexi payment plans.
2) Secure with no hassle booking things
3) Good services. (Maybank is out of the question)
4) My salary per annum is 18000 range.
5) May use autopay for bills

Currently my eye is on Citibank and also CIMB. I still feel Citibank is my first choice.

Any thoughts on that?

For closing of savings account even PBB charges a fee but I cooked up a fuse last time so they waived it

can check with CIMB or Maybank what is the charges for IBG (Inter Bank Giro)

my credit cards are longer listed in my cimb clicks , anyone facing the same problem?

I got a CIMB  visa infinite and it doesnt come with a priority pass. My HSBC world mastercard doesnt have it either. However, my citibank premier miles visa signature comes with it.
