Are you using HSBC CC?
I cancelled my HSBC recently because twice they replace my card (first time because I lost my card, second time because my card expired). Both times, I waited weeks and weeks for it. Call them numerous times, and they asked me to be patient because they're sending by normal mail. The last time I called, I asked them "What kind of 'normal mail' that need to wait for more than 4 weeks?!" Did some search online and found that I'm not the only one having this problem with them.

Anyway, back to the topic, I'm looking for a new CC to apply now and wonder what are the good options. I don't need much credit limit but I'm concern about the CC provider's security (less fraud, duplicate cases etc..), overseas recognition & most importantly a 24 hours accesible call center (RHB sux at this).

Is Citibank Airasia good?
*
In term of customer service, citibank consider very good, but for fraud cases, they are more vulnerable to this. In overall, I am satisfy with citibank if compared with AMEX, dunno wat happen wit their customer service, no one pick up phone calls.

Yeah, which is why I still can't decide whether to take Citibank Airasia or not. Still worth the try? unsure.gif

No harm to give it a try, as long as the card suit your needs.

if the website supports verified by visa or mastercard secure code, they will never call to verify

By the way guys, i just realized there actually are additional perks for using a Platinum card. Many have been arguing that it is all plastic and i used to think the same way too. There actually is a difference. It's kind of rare though.

I just found out that VISA has this ongoing promotion with Eraman Flying Emporium Chocolate shop at KLIA. All Platinum VISA cardholders will be entitled for 10% discount while Gold VISA cardholders get 5% off. Classic VISA cardholders unfortunately get nothing.

Visa classic also enjoy 5% off.

Any reason why it's not applicable?
*
Because it does not stated in their website anymore.

Hi all Sifus! I would like to hear your sage advice!

I'm a 23 yo working adult seeking which CC to apply.

What I'm looking for is:

1) Flexi payment plans.
2) Secure with no hassle booking things
3) Good services. (Maybank is out of the question)
4) My salary per annum is 18000 range.
5) May use autopay for bills

Currently my eye is on Citibank and also CIMB. I still feel Citibank is my first choice.

Any thoughts on that?
*
What makes you feel citibank is your first choice? For me i will go for CIMB, good flexi payment plans, benefits and privileges are suitable for your income range, services also not bad.

Which card do u mean? credit card or ATM card? Remember use your ATM card to register CIMB clicks in order to perform fund transfer.
