Unfortunately you can't convert any outstanding balance into instalment, you can either do balance transfer by using other card or pay in full. That's what i know.

Yeah, all transactions posted on different day, not the moment you charge and will get the transaction listed out. Have to wait. But the amount already been held. only with the actual you see can be use. over get charge ..

As ridiculous as it may sound, it's true! I've been monitoring my credit limit and that's the case every single time I pump petrol. The actual amount is usually posted within 3 days, but the hold will NEVER go away until 10 days later.

I always pump at Petronas coz it's the most convenient and I use the normal CIMB card. I don't know if it's CIMB or Petronas that holds it for so long.

Then i guess i'm lucky as all the computer shops here in Kota Kinabalu no longer revert the merchant charge to the customers. I can now even pay for ink toners with credit card without incurring any extra charges.

You are not so lucky tongue.gif Most shop in Low Yat Plaza has abolished the 2% surcharge, but with minimum payment required. At least that was my experience with several shops there. No such luck in Digital Mall PJ.

What's the minimum payment? I bought a graphics card that costs RM 270 from Cycom and still got charged 2% paying with CC.

Well can anyone confirm that for UOB cc, they don't charge additional charges for foreign transaction? Coz i read in first page it listed 1%, but when i call UOB, they said it's only based on daily exchange rate...

Anyone know?

Pump petrol one time, RM 200 is held for 10 days (speaking from my experience using CIMB card - not CIMB-Petronas though).

If you pumped petrol 5 times in the last 10 days, you get RM 1000 held.
*
ok thats explain everything...ive been pumped petrol for about 5-6 times in the last 10 days cry.gif

I did only installment at Harvey Norman.

I also bought few items below RM 100.

They have a lot of terminals like SengQ. sweat.gif
