Wah charge inside battery already 97% within 2 Month. Thats not normal.

i just wanna ask if my batt is fully charge but i plug the adapter all the time..will it spoil my batt? or the batt life will go shorter?

Don't trust coconut battery completely. Many people don't find it that accurate.

Don't think so as long as you drain your battery once in a while.. like every week or so.

Added on June 4, 2010, 3:42 amGuys, I find something really weird. I'm using the mbp17 and a Zalman NC1000 notebook cooler. The thing is, i find the laptop warmer when it's on the cooler compared to now that i'm using it without a cooler on the bed.. Another thing is when i rest my hand on the palm rest. i get this clicking sound once in a while and I think it's the hard disk. Irritating at times. Any of you face this problems as well? Oh yea, i'm using the 500gb 7200rpm HD

Someone's gonna come in here and suggest that you visit the Apple Store MY or Google/Yahoo/ do a search for it.
Maybe in the process you might even get some harsh comments.

Before that happens, why not just pop over to Apple Online Malaysia and check it out for yourself?

Already did that, and found none so far. I might be wrong tho cause the site might be dated. That's why I humbly inquired about it here. Thanks anyway

Apple suggest you use the battery at least once a weeks. Don't use till finish, use around 50% to make the ion move. Then every 1 or 2 months calibrate the battery. Calibrate steps,

1 - Use until the battery drain - until laptop shutoff itself.
2 - Leave the laptop around 5-6 hours.
3 - Recharge the battery until full.

Forget where I found this but it's from apple itself.

I just scare it defective battery, try call Apple Care and ask them about possibility. If used it 2 month then drop to 97% do the math. How long can it goes.

I also got it, i will apply it once upgrade new bigger hard disk later. Stick inside the case.
