I tried making an order with Apple today, and they were asking for my credit card billing statement.. Is that normal?

Maybe your shipping address and card credit address not same. Maybe to verify your card credit.

anyway i tried it myself dy... sometimes the scrolling is choppy n sometimes didnt work at all haha

rumours saying momentum scrolling will be in 10.6.4 *crosses fingers*

I'm a little confused. Doesn't 10.6.3 already have momentum scrolling (for the track pad)?

^ only for the current MB/P line-up. which is weird that apple didnt enable this feature for the older models, considering the trackpad is exactly the same

similar to what happened with the MBA last time. it didnt have the support for 4-finger gesture while having the same multitouch sensor. either apple issued an update or someone found a hack to enable 4 finger gestures

i called to machines and ask about the battery thingy.. they ask me to use for half month..if still dropping drastically, then need to claim warranty..but issit a must to leave my mbp there? can they change immediately?

so we r not expecting any major updates in less than a year..just my opinion..

i think it should be a check....well malaysia were not sure...last year this was not available for sg too...this is the first time...so malaysia...hmmm

There is no such thing as an apple store in south east asia, closest one is in china and tokyo or australia. The way resellers here work is that either they have their own service centers like Machines, Epicenter, or Switch or they send to authorized service centers like Sapura or VR Tech. Service centers perform checks and repairs in their outlets, they dont outsource to Singapore or any other country, however spare parts do come from Singapore so yeah hence the delay, nothing can be done on the spot unless its a software related issue.
