now itchy to buy macbook pro...but havent been following prices for years...so need help for all of you..

USD dollar been dropping fast....HAs the Apple Malaysian online store pricing drop as well? hehehe

Since the MBP is still in the hot topic now, I would like to ask if any of you get the ACPP along with the MBP .. there is a thread on ACPP but nobody answer my question. There are ppl who're selling ACPP for a discount in trade forum and I'm worry with the news about generated and fake ACPP .. so, should I get it from Apple or should I gamble and get it from these discounted ACPP .. will we get a box version of ACPP from these guys?

arghhhh.... the price i paid for the 15 inch mbp can pay for the 17 one now

if me, juz get ACPP directly from apple. the whole point of ACPP is so u dun have to worry about it anymore. if i buy "discounted" ones, i'll still be worried if it's legit or not. juz my opinion

my next target will be....

Have to agree with you there..you could always get it from the education store..though im not sure how much the price diff is but its still a heck load cheaper than what i paid for ACPP for my powerbook haha

hey today i see that macbook pro's family have announced hardware upgrades ....will it be there for at least few months ?

coz i plan to buy around the middle this year

It will last at least 8 over months The last update to the MBP line was in June last year when they introduced 13" MBP..

Added on April 15, 2010, 12:03 pmThanks for the input on ACPP, I guess I'll just go ahead getting it directly from the AppleStore. The news on fake ACPP really made me nervous .. Apple will say, as long as the code is valid, then shouldn't be a problem .. but if there is a conflict, someone claiming the same code and we don't have the serial number and proof of purchase .. then poof .. waste the RM .. ACPP for MBP is a bit over RM1K.

i ordered the magic mouse and the case along with my MBP and they are shipping it separately..In fact the case and mouse are already on the way while the MBP is in some plant in China

Now I'm thinking I'm gonna give my MacBook aluminium 2008 to my bro.And get the MBP 17 inch i7.That MB aluminium was a 2.4Ghz and fully upgrade to RM 8k at Pavillion.Now the prices drop so drastically...

i just got 1 for my aunty and i received it 10am just now. can't wait to test it out later on tonight when i reach home.

btw.. one more thing.. i read at somewhere regarding the battery of MBP.. but cant find it back d..

can we take out the battery from MBP? or it is a built in one?
if can.. should we take it out when we connect with the AC adapter?

Added on April 15, 2010, 1:20 pmever since the mid 2009 model, all Apple Portable machines, the battery cannot be removed from the machine and needs to be done by an apple technician.

is ACPP an apple product? of course got la. i say liao, as long as its Apple branded, then can get. but i saw in the garage sale section got 1 guy can get cheaper than me. I am interested to buy from him, but dunno how "genuine" is his ACPP .
