Dunno if u are a sports fan or not but we need at least 1 sportsnews channel..
For some who wont watch late night matches or sports, they can wake up and switch on the channel to get the latest results..
So we could at least get the news before going to work..
Sportscentre is only night time news which by the time its on air, the news a;ready basi..
Sometimes it some nes wont even be on Sportscentre
N some breaking sports news would be available..
So there is at least people who would appreciate it

I realized today that some of the Chinese programs are watchable.
Are they actually part of Astro Family Pack?

false alarm originally channel 509 cctv9 (english language cctv), has changed channel logo to cctvNEWS

currently these channels are free to view, later on will be slotted into various packages
303 KBS World
305 TVB Classic
334 CCTV 4
611 Astro Ceria
735 Granada TV

cctvNEWS is belong to family package, in another word, "free" channel

so only 818 is new, juz not activated yet at 8.00am 1st may

But I heard in another forum, they said, Free view channels is the channels that anytime Astro can remove it from their package line-up...
If the rating for those channels are lower, not so popular, anytime astro can remove it since he said, it's just a preview channels....
Astro Aruna (channel 121) and Astro Kirana was the example of it. Astro suddenly remove it without further notice to their subscriber...
But Astro Kirana was replaced with Astro Citra (channel 131)....

Wah Lai Toi have so many viewers? I don't know that.. because I only tune to Wah Lai Toi for their TVB Drama....
Astro should separate Wah lai Toi from Dynasty to ala carte package... It seems that I only watch WLT on dynasty package since only WLT have Malay Subtitles on their program.... Like what they do with Astro SHX and celestial movies... if i'm not mistaken, we can choose to subscribe Astro SHX or celestial movies individually....

yes, Celestial is only rm15 extra if u hav dynasty, if i am not mistaken

Celestial Movies is part of the New Emperor package - RM 21.95
or pay RM15 to get the Celestial Movies channel alone

I prefer to setup media player, movies are non-censored, subtitle can be switchable, HD, moviee can be paused to take a leak

kirana was free Citra you pay !! Preview from what I know see free first and get addicted later moving to package ! Ceria is free for so long Astro dare not move it to fun package bcos nobody wld subscribe it and it wld come under attack if it went to package, Aruna is now on MIO TV, so you know the excuse was not true the bottom line $$$$$$ If what they claim is true then so many channels with poor follow up shld have been removed by now

You may be right but I think now Sports takes priority they are at full swing to promote Beyond using World cup. Many wld have realised now ESPN NEWS was afterall another Euro sports news.
By the way AXN HD wld be in which pack now ? Get the money ready it may go to Variety pack so gotta add another !

Currently not at my home now... going holidays with my friends for 3 days....

Can't even see the content actually, the message that the channel is not under subscription will come out. But the HD icon is there.

The pic quality on Ch804 is way better than 812's EPL.
