Managed to trade in my X6 for 1.3k .. the best I could get.

wow.. is hard time for me.... everyone is getting it from digi

pc fair got digi promo? or have to go klcc digi shop? going in an hour time...

So Is there any gps/a-gps software on android phone? Let say if I don't use the papago thingy, is there any alternative for me to use GPS on my legend or desire?

i'm happy with the Legend. The market application is just fantastic.

haha yeah lor i felt there is something missing in my phone without an offline gps application after years of having garmin xt in my trustworthy nokia.

u also go pressure them a bit la...the malaysian papago distributor m3asia.just google it...lol...
i just talk to the taiwanese papago today thru msn today...the fellow on the other side said he informed the management about it already...haih but dunno when oni can get it installed for my beloved legend...

I've got offline GPS on my iPhone too. And if you know me personally, you'll know how lost I can be without a GPS

I think we should all spam Papago asking them to release the version for Legend ASAP!

But did you try other apps?

Hmmm, I'm thinking we should get the Legend thread more organize some day. With information and helpful tips available easily for all Legend users. Oh well, maybe when I have time soon and when I'm familiar enough with the Android!

Or someone could start doing it now!

how's the battery life under normal usage with phone call service only?
no browsing or wifi or bluetooth
can last for 2-3 days?

Agree with you about the Market application. Plenty of free apps and games to explore. Today, I downloaded Compass, Google Sky Map, Opera Mini 5 beta and Sudoku.

I wonder if we will ever get Paid Apps in the Market in the future.

i already spam Papago already. hahaha...spam kau kau d...dunno they got curse me behind my back a not?
i havent try any other apps for gps specifically ndrive bcoz it seems very expensive and the maps i think cant use mallfreemaps if not mistaken thus still waiting patiently for papago. i even email garmin because i saw they were hiring software developer for android but they never reply also.

How do u intend to organize the legend thread. I am not very well verse with lowyat forum hehehe...

Anyway how much is you Legend-ers internal memory storage? LOL....mine left 74.32mb only....that also i save save dun dare install more applications into my phone. the phone internal memory like very small =(

ok got the phone from pc fair... no freebies... but got a lottery kind of ball game... so i got umbrella instead of thumbdrive or netbook...

total for 1 yr subscription is

1399 + 300 + 68

charging the phone now... much much better looking phone than looking at the pictures

digi umbrella, i gave it to the malay guy... he got quite a tough time with me...

oh, if you are using prepaid or postpaid from maxis or celcom, you cant get your phone straight away, they will have to port you first... sad, new number for me :/ the number not nice somemore...

Does anyone has a problem whereby phone (HTC Legend) doesn't ring when it is under stand-by mode (or sleeping status)?

so u mean for other telco users, we can only get the sim and phone after porting over to digi? i can accept receiving the phone late, but not sim, since the other telco's sim card might be disabled and yet u dont have digi's sim. then u got no hp at all during the porting period.

payment is after we get the phone & sim or at the moment u apply for porting?

from what i heard, we can pay when we get the phone after porting. they will give a call for you to collect your phone. i just desperate for the freebies nia... too bad got a stupid umbrella la
