i'm getting bored with my iphone 3gs.

so basically my questions are:
1. how's the performance of legend compared to iphone 3gs?. What i meant was, i don't play games so i don't think i need a snapdragon processor(am i right?) BUT i'm concerned about the performance of legend's browser, email, facebook, twitter, music etc. I hate slow performance phone

2. Does legend support push gmail?

3. is the screen better than iphone? how about the size, is it big enough?

4. How's the interface of android 2.1 compared to iphone OS? it's better right?

I'm having a hard time choosing between legend or desire?

what made you guys choose legend?....I'm worried that the 600Mhz processor & 3.2 in screen are not gonna be good enough.

but i really like legend's design. Is it as good as the pictures?

i bought my legend yesterday and it's my first Android phone. So here's a mini review from an iphone fanboy

design
Legend feels solid & well built, it's really nice to hold although kinda heavy for its size. The aluminum body is awesome, it makes the phone look expensive
the trackball works like a charm and it's really responsive.

Android 2.1
At first i didn't like it cause it felt a bit too complicated compared to the iphone OS. BUT then after playing with it for a day, i'm starting to get the hang of it. The phone can get a bit slow when there's a lot of applications running at the same time but that can be solved easily by using free app such as Task Killer

Performance
advantages
-the phone is fast, there's no need to buy HTC Desire if you just gonna use it for email,facebook,texting,surfing etc.
-Browsing the web is really smooth and some websites load even faster than iphone 3gs. My advice is turn off the flash support if you don't need it.
-email support is fantastic, gmail messages/appointments are instantly pushed to your phone.
-the android facebook app is much faster then its iphone counterpart although it lacks the chat support
-the phone HSDPA connection is SUPER fast, much2 better than the iphone
-GPS lock takes less than 10s

disadvantage
-wifi is a bit weak but it doesn't affect my browsing speed
-iphone OS > Android 2.1 in my opinion

battery
Battery life SUCKS..if you used the phone heavily i think you can only get Max 8-9hrs/fullcharge

does anyone have a problem with their alarm application? My alarm doesn't seem to work

i have the exact same problem. I woke up late for 2days due to this problem (my cell's is my main alarm)

Yup, i use task killer everytime after i'm done with an app. WHAT if i don't use task killer at all? will that slow down my phone?...cause honestly i'm sicked of having to kill off my applications

damnit, my Legend's power button has sunk so deep that now it's become impossible to turn on the damn phone

is there any solution to this problem?..How long will it take if i send the phone for repair?

WTF?...first my power button got stuck Now after i updated the firmware my messages(sms) app fails to show recent messages. Now the stupid app shows the messages from the very beginning..SHIT
Right now i'm forced to use Handcent SMS...Damnit HTC

is there any solution to this sms bug?

i thought i was the only one..haha ...anyway this will be my last HTC branded phone (i'm so mad right now) BUT not the last android haha... iphone4, please come to Malaysia soon
