1. for those who got their legend from the digi smartplan, how many years of warranty is given for the phone? i checked with some digi fella at pc fair, and he said only 1 year. 2. ok, i'm currently using a resistive touch screen phone (i type using my finger nails). when i tested the legend, i just can't get used to typing on the compact qwerty keyboard...any tips on how u guys type? do you use the pad of your finger or the tip of your finger? 3. is it just me or is the legend not as smooth as many has claimed?

Hi,
i need some advise from you guys.
i going to get a HTC Legend soon but i cant decide whether to get it with DiGi or Singapore. I dont want to join any plan, so if i get from DiGi it will be RM1999 outright, but if i ask my friend help me to buy in SG, it cost RM1700. What you guys think? it is worth to pay RM300 extra say for local warranty only?

just checked with the digi d'chat and they said that it is 1 year warranty, just like all other phones they offer.
maybe someone can check the imei of their phone with SIS? if it is valid, then maybe can get another year of warranty from SIS?

best is to call SiS and ask if the HTC Legend unit offered by DiGi is from SiS themselves or what

guys who owns a Legend. Try this keyboard mod. It takes away the annoying auto add word to dictionary. I changed mine and works flawlessly. Download the low-res one. Removes chinese keyboard for those who are not using it as well as it adds additional mods. No rooting required. It installs as an additional keyboard. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=624416additional info here http://nimbu.amorvi.com/2010/04/add-full-v...-to-htc-desire/you can add voice search (same in N1) This post has been edited by r47z: Apr 17 2010, 03:13 PM
