Yeah. Getting the Digi Smartplan with HTC Legend for RM999 is a good deal. Looks like it's time for me to upgrade from my SE P1i to the HTC Legend.

Just picked up my Digi Smart Plan HTC Legend from Digi SS2. Signed up for 2 years to get the HTC Legend for RM999 + RM500 Advance Payment. The phone just arrived in the service center in the afternoon. Waited 45 minutes to get served in the busy service center.

First impression of the phone, the Legend is just slightly larger but thinner than my current Sony Ericsson P1i. The Legend is charging, so it's time to backup my contacts from my P1i to transfer over to the Legend.

Size comparison: Legend (112 x 56.3 x 11.5 mm) vs P1i (106 x 55 x 17 mm)

It's only slightly bigger. Won't make a difference when you put on your pants. I mean when putting it into your pants. tongue.gif

yeah totally a brand new world. kicked my butts hard for getting the X6 out of GAS.
i'm happy with the Legend. The market application is just fantastic.

Agree with you about the Market application. Plenty of free apps and games to explore. Today, I downloaded Compass, Google Sky Map, Opera Mini 5 beta and Sudoku.

I wonder if we will ever get Paid Apps in the Market in the future.

You can tether the HTC Legend with a Mac. http://thinkden.com/index.php/general/admin/75

I'm using AziLink on my HTC Legend and Tunnelblick on my MacBook for USB tethering. Works great.

So far I like my Lengend since last month.

ANyone can tell me what is the con and pro for upgrade system software ?

I still consider upgrade or not.

TQ!  notworthy.gif

i've upgraded the system software and don't see any improvement or degradation. So, I suppose it's probably minor bug fixes to the system software.
This upgrade is just a minor update and not Android 2.2 Froyo.

When Android 2.2 Froyo comes out, I will definitely upgrade my HTC Legend to Froyo.

Really looking forward to getting Android 2.2 Froyo on my HTC Legend. If it really does come out within 2 weeks, I'll be so very happy. The portable wifi hotspot is the feature I'm most looking forward to. My HTC Legend will be best friends with my wifi only iPad when we leave home.
