What should i do when i get my Legend?? u know i see u guys updating but i just dont understand...

Hey guys, ive got some queries here. Im new to htc phones, therefore im not sure how or where to find those widgets/programs.

I got my htc legend just last friday, and i was wondering:

1) how to check the data usage like how many smses sent/data used from internet? My sister has the iphone and i was able to check easily from iphone settings. Do i have to download from the market for this feature? Or is it hidden in this phone?

2) another noob question, can someone kindly teach me how to save applications into the sd card? Hehe...

3) i saw the previous thread about the task killer program. Ive downloaded it i like it a lot, but everytime i kill a task, they will say like "7 apps killed, 157M available". What does the "M" mean? Is it the RAM freed?

4) one last question, is it possible to send contacts via bluetooth to other phones? Is yes, can tell me how?

just did the update over the air and looks fine so far, except the ringtones settings for notifications/sms/alarm/email all reset. need to redefine the ringtones.

either with 3G or WiFi

how to update?

go to Setting -> About Phone -> System Software Updates -> Check Now

1) I install 3G Watchdog.
2) That feature is not available currently in stock Legend. Wait for HTC's official Android 2.2 update or root your phone and install a ROM that have that feature.
3) '157MB' RAM available
4) never tried, you try and let us know.

Just to add to no.4 , you can send contacts using bluetooth by

Going to contacts>hold the name of the person>a pop up will appear> send contact as vcard>the top option choose bluetooth

Guys, got a problem here...

Normally all your contacts are in VIP or normal mode??? I think i accidently copied all into VIP... How can i put it back to the normal contact???

Well, i set some as vip, some as family, some as friends. I think you have to change it 1 by 1. Hold the contact, and choose edit.

from the phone update screen, the update says it was for Email related issue.

are u sure? i tried to browse a bit in the Market and dont see any paid apps listed.

Currently Malaysian Market does not support paid apps. If you really want paid app then look for 'Market Enabler' in Market.

Hmm ok maybe its cos I'm roaming right now. Cos mine is an ori SIS msia unit and its showing paid apps

In the same vein, my USB tethering is working!

I'm getting great speed from Digi. It's faster than my Screamyx wifi by a mile. Downloading over 140KB/s right now on Youtube videos. Going to milk this line, Digi gonna regret getting me as a customer

And before setting up this tethering, my 3G Watchdog says I'll only be using ~20% of my 3 gig quota by the end of this month.
