Are this new package better than my current fix line + Streamyx 1MB (download) & 384kbps (upload)?

Im existing customer with 1mb package which it called "combo 110" or something, and im paying like RM110 inclusive of a phone line rental. What is my best move to get myself a 2mb or 4mb line and how much extra do i need to pay ? thanks.

why they dont revise also others streamyx package????

my monthly bill now is about RM115 for 1Mbps package RM88 + rental RM26
so BB 1Mbps which RM110 will be cheaper for me?

Will the technician stop the upgrade by looking at the down attenuation value only?

Because mine is 49db for down, 30 for up, but SNR is quite stable at 25 for both down and up.

I have applied for upgrade to 4mb but concern is the technician won't even test the speed and stop everything by looking at the attenuation value.

i'm currently using Combo 1MB, RM110/mth. I also heard that the 2MB for BB price dropped to RM130,  think to upgrade to 2MB BB which more worth. So yesterday went to Kedai Telekom at Titiwangsa ask the officer there, the feedback was they have never get the instruction drop the price...wtf!!!!

heheh just now just go upgrade my 512 register in [2004year] =.= to Blockbuster 1m RM110    .... tm gef me free dect phone an wifi modem ... but the dect phone wit send by poslaju in 14day ..... but my streamyx need wait unti monday just upgrade to1m .. an my free call need wait unit may

tumpang abit if dont mind , im still on old rm 88 package (older than combo)

and the speed is capped at exactly 1mbps. ive beeen wondering how u guys get 1.5 instead of 1?... i called tm before , they said its what i get to what i subscribed. i told them others get more he just ignored me.

anyway i planned to get 2mpbs or 4 mbps(if available), but not sure of those "hidden" charges.
please advise,

Any one know if the blockbuster deal wireless router TM supply, does it come with normal RJ45 cable port also? or only wireless? cos have a desktop, no wireless one, how to use the router a????

I stay in JB and also kena the same thing...trouble is, the same tech/contractor that told me there is 4mb at my area after a few months say the opposite. 

I went to TMpoint countless times but got cut out from this same lazy contractor.
I'm sure you guys know one time go to TM takes a hour for number to be called.

Here is what you need to do, follow this steps and hope that within a month you'll get it.

First: Make sure your area has 4mb line...by asking neighbors or check the modem attenuation or something like that.
The reseller you are about to contact also can help you check it out.
Next: Force a registration for a 4Mb line...once you force it, you will be entering a new zone...its called TM 2nd level...forget abt the 1st level TM staff that only barks, looks good but no action.
In order to force it you have to contact a reseller like ahcheap. I'm sure there are many other resellers in Lowyat forums too.
Lastly: Once registered, your pening it not over...you need the dslam (at the roadside or taman) to be configured (usually using a jumper wire) by a TM technician. Not that lazy contractor.
This simple last step is easy ...go to the TMpoint and complain that your 4mb is still not configured..they will put you to a TM task force make sure you get the 4Mb line and will call you up everyday until you are satisfied with the configurations....no need to go through that stupid lazy contractor cause its now a 2nd level TM technician responsibility.

Simple..just follow my steps...but make sure you do have 4Mb line at your area first

But just to let you know...now I'm using 4mb line, it ain't sweet either...hahahaha

But I don't undertsand why by subscribing the blockbuster 4mpbs will also waive out the RM26 rental fee, I though we only get the free call to all TM fixed line within Malaysia???

Now, I have home phone and pay RM26 for the TM fixed line and I don't suscbribe streamyx for my home internet

if i have 1 MB at home and want to get 2 MB line they say we wont have to pay for the RM10 telephone bil right? and get free dect phone? right?

currentlly my bil average 130-140 per month (RM110 1 MB+called made on the month of the bil) so my question is what will happen to my bil then? still they will charge me the RM10 rent+5% service tax?? haiya help me !!

yes i did subscribe to the RM10 package before....so now they auto deactive it or i have to tell them?? i already got the Wifi modem and phone if..... os now how? i'm already paying rm110 1 MB internet so i have to go TM point and tell them to deactive?? fill up form?

unfortunately, that means i can only paste the latest speed test becos i only saved "screen-shots" of the previous tests at 1.0mbs and 4.0mbs (which showed 1.35 and 3.51 respectively).

Still haven't got the DECT phone too yet.. Kinda itching to use the phone, but my billing cycle is yet to come.. So, with DECT phone also, there is no use, since I can't gayut for free..

So, i rather wait

I did call 100 to check on this. She clarified saying that if it takes too long for me to get the phone, I better try my luck by going to nearest TM Point.
I might go there once it passes my billing cycle, which is on coming 25th April.. 

Since, right now, even I were to have it i.e. DECT phone, I couldnt enjoy the sweet rate.. so there is no pressing reasons for me to go through hassle i.e. go to TMPoint during lunch hour (which is very hassle)..

FYI, it`s almost one month since my Streamyx activation..
