LOL..i had the same prob...now i know how to solve it

i have a problem to copy file from usb device to POHD harddisk, it cant copy after i press SELECT key.

I have a problem to view my pc share folder too, I cant view the pc share folder from POHD, and my pc also cannot view the POHD files.

I know POHD is connected to network, i can ping POHD network address from my PC. But when i key in POHD address in my browser, it shows cgi test page!!??? what happen le...?

Anyone exprience this? how to solve it? Help...

I think I told you before, you are not pressing the right button on the remote to display the copy menu.

Any problems using European FW on Asian Models?

There is no asian or european model. Just the firmware differs in terms of language support.

Hi, i just bought a playon HD last week and with a Lite-on blu-ray ROM, I have borrow a few Blu-ray disc from my friend and I copy whole BD files to my Play-on HD hard disk and when playing the files, the player come out error message "Bitstream Error" and stop there, what is the problem with "Bitstream Error"?

Am looking for media player. How much you pay for the PlayonHD ?

The price isn't expensive, quite affordable, but I won't recommend you to buy this at the moment until I able to solve the Bitstream Error for .m2ts file first. My purpose for buying this POHD is to play bluray movie without buying any bluray player, when I ask the sales person whether able to play bluray disc file, the sales person very confident and said 100% can play, if cannot play, return it, now see, the first bluray disc movie already unable to play, i'll try to return this useless POHD to them and see what they will say.

How did you rip the disc?
I don't face this problem, have tried with Avatar and UP (untouched blu-ray, BDMV).

I didn't rip the file at all, I just copied and pasted the whole bluray disc inside my hard disk, untuoched anything, when try to play, the "Bitstream Error" pop out and the tv screen stay black until I press the remote "return" button. Btw, the movie I tried was "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince".

Perhaps it's the copy protection?
I remember doing a straightforward copy and paste thing on an original Godfather disc, and all the files are corrupted. When I used SlySoft AnyDVD HD to rip it however, the files played as it should.

I'm going to upgrade tonight, but I wont be a good tester cause I only use it to play m720p movies only.

can u just play the movie straight instead of copying it into the hdd?

Good News !!!! Initial Observations.

FW 3875 improvements :-

BDMV/BD.ISO
-----------------
1) Can now recognise BDMV/ISO playlists. Can play back seamlessly in right order automatically (no more just playing largest m2ts file). Even if movie is broken up into many small parts like Monsters Inc. (Manual Browse no longer required).
2) As a result of above, can now use the 'NEXT' button to skip to next chapter (like in real blu-ray).
3) Can also use the 'GOTO' button to go directly to any chapter.

(Of Course don't expect any Menus lah ). <== My Mistake ( Update :- Refer Update at bottom of post.)

General
-----------------------------------------------
1) Can use the 'RIGHT' button to activate slider Bar to search/forward (like in HDX BD1)
2) Subtitles are now Better looking and clearer. (Update:- After trying out more- Subtitles shadow doesn't look good when viewing against white background, looks coarse and ugly. Very amateurish)
3) Picture in movie Folder is displayed in Preview Window when scrolling.

That's all for now. Still testing.

1) I was wrong about not to expect Menus for BDMV/ISO. There is a Menu (very, very simple one) when the 'Menu' button on the remote is pressed. You can select Audio, Subtitles, Title, Chapter. Don't expect anythinng fancy though

2) Also a certain BD.iso which had some stuttering on this new FW was smooth when I extracted it out to BDMV.

tempting...might reflash mine with this official...coz i still using 2388 after toying around with several beta firmware..latest i tried 36XX....

p/s: 2388 is still the best in my setup...only problem is the sub a bit greyish...
