@ngto: ThumbGen app requires .NET 3.5 SP1 to be installed on your system.

There is no installation required for ThumbGen app. Extract the .exe inside a new folder and run it. It will create required subfolders/files and u are ready to go. To be up-to-date make sure you click from time to time on "Check for updates".

If it bombs during startup it is 99% due to missing correct .NET version. I don't want to have an installer; it is much simpler and nicer to deploy the exe that is not touching your system (no registry keys, no extra files installed in windows, etc). When u want to get rid of ThumbGen u simply delete its folder and it is history wink.gif

Thanks Thumbgen, for paying us a visit.

But I think you forgot I PM you before at the AC Ryan POHD forums smile.gif. I did mention that I already have .Net 3.5 SP1 installed. I will be emailing you a screen capture of the error. Hope you can figure out what's causing the error.

Thanks.

USers not so much interested on AC Ryan plan. That is for resellers only.

Seems like it has alot of technical problem and not user friendly that this workshop need to be held in order to get less complain from users who did not research well when buying POHD.

Most of us already know or guessed that the 1073DD infamous 'licensing' excuse was just to divert the blame elsewhere. It's open truth that the Hardware is just incapable of bitstreaming HD Audio (TrueHD and DTS-MA).

I will be selling off my POHD by this weekend, so will not be monitoring / updating the first post. If someone wants to maintain the first post, do feel free and open a new thread and PM me so that i can close this thread.

Reason for sale:
-2tb not big enough oledi, just bought a 4TB NAS
-Hardly use it cause tv always used by others.
-New notebook has HDMI output, so if needed can output to tv from notebook.

It's ok only if they didn't adverstise as being able to do HD Audio when they first started selling. But they did, and those early buyers who bought because of the claim, now left fuming.
