Geramnya, can't support Dolby Thru HD and the DTS HD MA will also remux to normal DTS 5.1, what the hell is this. I thought can straight away play the Blu-ray with support all the HD audio format, now really upset. Does anyone know which firmware support the HD audio format?

It won't ever happen unless GOD intervene. Been a big issue before but now everyone seem to have given up hope already. Not only POHD, it is the same for all Realtek 1073DD players.

Don't have to link also can. Just plug your movies hdd to your pc, when the yamj indexing is done connect it to your pohd.

Didn't you get a special USB cable when you bought the POHD? One end Mini USB slave (connect to the POHD) the other end regular size USB (connect to your PC). Once connected to your PC, switch on the POHD. After a few seconds, it will power down with all lights off and become like any other external USB HDD. Your PC will detect it as such.

I thought I mentioned before to press the 'Menu' button on the remote to activate a simple Menu during the movie.

Of course lah. Only after you play folder only can you get the Menus  doh.gif . When movie is playing, just press the 'Menu' button loh. Or if you just wnat to go to next chapter just press the 'Next' button. Can also use the slider bar by pressing the 'Right' button.

This new 3875 FW has problems with BD.ISO (Stuttering, sound loss) especially if you use the Next chapter button or the Slider bar. Problem is worse if you connect to external USB.

Only way is use BDMV for time being until they solve the problem in later FW. I have already posted the problem in AC Ryan POHD Forums.

BDMV plays everything OK.

You only get the Menu when you press the Remote 'Menu' Button after the movie starts. Don't expect the Menu to come out before the movie starts, because POHD can't activate the Real BD Menu. They can only provide a simple non-graphical replacement Menu during the Movie.

If you just want to play the next Chapter (next song) you don't even need to activate the menu, just press the 'Next' button on the remote.

3875 of course, since it got playlist support. Playlist support is very impirtant. For example if you use 2901 (no playlist support) you can't select chapter. If I want to play David Foster BDMV I can't go directly to a certain chapter (song). Now with 3875, I can go to any song I want.

I can put up with the FW 3875 ISO problem for time being as not all ISO suffer from the stuttering (only high bitrates ones I presume).

Yes and no. I expect YAMJ to slow down browsing so I am not too keen.

Regarding the 3875 problem with certain BD ISO , even playing from Internal HDD also got some stuttering but it is much less compared to external USB HDD.

I tried the latest f/w and revert back to 2388, it is the best for my setup and all f/w after 2388 does shift the screen to the right when display in native mode.

I do notice the PQ is the best in native mode vs full. anyone try that before? When you set the display to native mode, you will see 2 little >> arrow on the top line of the POHD main menu.

There is a screen adjustment feature in all the FW, but I don't know if it works or not. I have tried it before but it doesn't have any effect on my LCD TV.
