Upgrade to 2M & 4M only available at TM point.........

Just came back from TM point. Gosh 2 and a half hours wait

im regreting of my update....now not stable at all....ping 383...waffak

Since it is free .. why not go back to your previous speed .. you don't need to pay anything.. just call them to revert back ..

My modem status screen shot below. So means the port is not cap at 512 right? Suitable to upgrade to 1MB?

Your line can go up to 4Mbps no problem .. currently set at 2Mbps with high SNR & low attenuation (which is excellent) .. what package are you on at the moment?

As usual streamyx technician din come today, promise 10am today but din even give me a call.....

Call 100, ask for your technician phone number......if you treat him nicely, he can give you 5mbps.......

How to say treat nice lerh?? He din keep his promise coming today still i wan treat him nicely??

Like I've said before, if you can, try to "borrow" a friend's 1Mb account to test. I think you should get good speeds, maybe like those getting 1.1-1.3Mb. You can even try with a 2Mb account to compare results. If you upgrade, let us know the results after that.

But the problem is 512 i get only 0.40-0.50Mb/s, How i posibble getting 1.1-1.3 at 1Mb upgrade??

Since you're connected at 2mbps but using a 512kbps account then you're stuck at 512kbps. But the good news is, once u upgrade to 1mbps, it's very possible that u get the full 2mbps instead. Same case happen to some of my frens who're now enjoying 2mbps speed but pays at 1mbps rate.

512 is memang .4 to .5 wat...

Hear my real story:
Since i started streamyx, my dad din pay by credit card den always don't pay till last year streamyx send a letter warning us for paying the internet bill. But they din terminate my acc just cut off only....
But few months back we owe streamyx 300++ only den they terminate my acc.... Then my dad paid all the money only we knew our acc is terminated...
Now i have to suscribe another streamyx account and they don't count me in as old customer and don'y let me upgrade!!!!
They say they terminate by accident but dun take responsible on the problem!!!

do u think izzit worth for me to upgrade from 512 to 1mb?

when sems break (around 1-2 month) there will be 4 laptop+1 desktop using connected to Internet....
other than that time only my mum or my dad using it to surf the net

Because your port is set to 2048. So your line may be capable up to that. With a 1Mb account, it is possible you will get 1.1 or over speeds. If your port was set at 1024 and you upgrade to 1Mb, you will only get around 0.8-0.9 speed. Like I said, try with a "borrowed" 1Mb account and you can test it yourself to see if your upgrade is worth it or not.

Izzit possible to change my port to 2048?? I checked is 1024 only so i think not worth it...

I think what vergas is asking is this.

If he has a 2048 port and a 512 account, max he gets is 0.5. Because his account is capped at 512.

But with a 2048 port and a 1Mb account, his account should be capped at 1Mb. So he should be getting 0.8-0.9 max. But why can he get 1.1-1.3 or even 1.5? Is it because his 1Mb account is not capped?

If your port is at 1024, you will get approx 0.8-0.9 only.

I am not sure if they will change your port. I am trying to find that out also at this time.
