Yup, share ur lobang lah. With that kind of price range i might be able to get few friends who are interested in buying em. Anyway the Sharp is negotiable. Really need to off load it. Will put it up in the Garage Sales section pretty soon. I don't intend to own 3 LCD tv at one time lerrr heh heh heh

Free HDTV channel will be a long long way before it comes here. Even standard digital TV (I don't consider Astro+standard decoder as true digital TV) will take another 5-10 years to become a common thing. Year 2020 perhaps? However, I'd be interested toward next-gen DVD (HD-DVD or Blu-Ray) which supports HDTV. At least right now u can download HDTV movies from Internet if u got at least a broadband and lots of patience (6-12GB in size!).

last time I went to Giant Alamanda... I saw Samsung LA32R81B only RM3199!!!! very cheap... for just 2 month the price drop!

sony japan will release full 1080p 120Hz 10bit panels... in the form of v3000, v5000, x5000, x5050 series in/at around 20th september ... and the 70inch LED lighted x7000 series and the w5000 series in november

hey all,
just wanna ask, is there any astro decoder which supports component output?? bcoz currently im using s-video for my astro to my lcd tv. and the quality is still not that good, especially watch football. sometimes abit blurry. any of u experience this? im using a sony 40inch lcd tv KLV-40V300A but i use component output on my dvd player and watching dvd = superb! |

due to resolution , if u think watching dvd on a normal dvd player with component is sharp, wait till u see it on an upscaler or HD

Actually I googled about this last night after my dad kept complaining why everyone looks "fat" and "stretched" in Astro.
Apparently, we're gonna start HDTV trial in 2009.. Sigh, guess we'll have no choice but to buy HDDVD or Blue ray to satisfy our hunger.
